Thank you Eric for helping me navigate through the rambunctious front end parking system and other various things. If it wasn't for him i would've lost my mind. Eric went above and beyond from making my check- in process smooth to drop off at JFK in a timely manner. The hotel is very clean , modern and comfy. I enjoyed my stay very much. Provided breakfast and shuttle service are a great bonus.

Bottom line upfront: Do not stay here if you can avoid it. Just the facts: 1. I reserved a king bedroom suite, the front desk gave us a studio room with a sofa bed (please see the photo attached; the sofa bed was not usable). 2. The TV (1 of 2) in the room did not work even after contacting maintenance twice. 3. When we asked for our correct room the front desk said they are negative rooms and I would have to wait until after midnight for cleaning people to come in to clean the room “I already prepaid for”. 4. The front dest never called me to let me know my actual room was ready, I had to call them 1am to find out. 5. Once I got my key for the correct room, my Mom was already sleep in the room we were originally given (again it’s past 1am) and they said that everything in the room has to go to the new room by the “Marriott Transfer Policy”. I asked if she can just remain sleep and I’ll go to the new room. They called my Mom in the original room to wake her and they told her she had to go. So we moved her at 2am. (My opinion inserted for this sentence) I understand the Marriott Transfer Policy, but they went by the letter of the law instead of the spirit of the law - no reason to move her at 2am when we would have been out by 7am. 6. We get to our actual room we paid for, and both TVs did not work even after maintenance came by twice the day. My Mother fixed the TVs on her own by looking at the wiring issues. My plan was to bring this up to the managers first, but neither was in when we were checking out.

Excellent choice for overnight at JFK Airport. Shuttle service was prompt, if a bit delayed even with terrible traffic, and staff friendly and helpful. Several good places for a meal within a few minutes walk. Great breakfast included and the hotel is very clean and updated. Ask for a room off the front of the hotel is street noise bothers you.

Rooms were nice and staff was pleasant until it was time to check out. Rooms were never cleaned during my stay. Nor did the bathroom have hand soap. On Sunday I called the front desk and asked for late checkout and I was told I could check out at 4. I told them perfect but I’ll be out by two. I then scheduled a shuttle pick up to go to the airport. Monday the day of checkout room service came knocking at 12 asking me to leave. I then said I have late check out. I called the front desk and they said they had no record of this. I told them that I spoke with someone and of course they started asking me for the blood type and hair color of the person I spoke to briefly over the phone the day before. I had no information of the person I spoke with. They then confirmed my shuttle time and told me it would be okay to leave at that time. I then leave my room at 1:45 and board my 2pm shuttle at 2:15. While I am enroute to the airport the driver ask me for my terminal i then tell him the airport and the terminal and he then tells me that we don’t go to that airport. Which is confusing because there are two airports in close proximity to the hotel. He then calls the hotel and they instruct him to bring me back to the hotel. The driver turns around and drops me off at the Wendy’s. I then walk with my luggage to the hotel where I requested an Uber. Two days later I check my credit card statement only to find out that I had been charged an additional day of stay. I called and spoke to the GM Christin Thompson, whom I explained the situation to. Instead of listening to my concerns she listened to respond. Her response was stern and loud and she preceded to twist my words to make them fit to her unwavering predetermined verdict. Once I began to match her tone she hung up. I would not recommend staying at this hotel due u professionalism, poor communication, and ill treatment of patrons. What was supposed to be a $590 stay turned into a $1000 nightmare.

I’m amazed at the bad reviews! This place is value for money in comparison with other airport hotels.||After arriving in JFK we took the air train to federal circle, after getting off ring the hotel and there is an automated number to text or if you connect to the operator they will send the driver. We waited about 20 mins.||The hotel is clean and modern and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast is fantastic with a wide range of hot and cold items and even a waffle maker! The rooms are a good size and exceptionally clean.||From the entrance of the hotel you can see a range of fast foot restaurants which were ideal after a long flight. No concerns regarding the neighbourhood. ||As you look at McDonald’s, turn right and the subway is a few mins down the road. Line E takes you direct into the centre of New York.

Overall, the hotel is good and provides nice rooms and an excellent breakfast spread. However, their housekeeping policy and practices are a serious problem. First, I was asked upon checkin (for a 6 night stay) whether I wanted to opt-sing out of housekeeping services, which I found to be a strange suggestion from the hotel that they want to suggest to save themselves cost and trouble. I told them no (I don't want to opt out) and that was the end of that discussion. After no housekeeping the first morning, I asked front desk | on the second morning what is the standard policy for housekeeping and I was told it is every other day, so I said fine. But still no housekeeping came. When I asked on the 3rd day, I was told it is only "on request" ... WHAT? You keep changing the story. How terrible ... this should be clearly explained on checkin how this works and not just to ask to totally opt-out (avoiding a normal hotel service). I even had to force the issue on the 4th day when no one had come by late afternoon. Terrible, terrible policy and confusing / conflicting messaging to guests.||To top things off, after a room cleaning, they removed the tiny bar of soap that was in use and left nothing in its place (and threw out a floss stick that was left out).

The shuttle service was terrible and I do not recommend this hotel. The shuttle was too small, only comes once every hour, and guests need to get to Federal Circle to get the shuttle. We were not able to get on the first shuttle and then after more than one hour wait, we had to fight our way onto the next shuttle as people who arrived after us tried to get on. ||Everything else was fine but not amazing. We did not feel unsafe at the location, and found the room and breakfast fine for a one night stay. The hotel staff was friendly but we would not stay here again after our experience with the shuttle and the hotel's unwillingness to offer any compensation or solutions regarding the shuttle.

I stayed in this hotel due to a flight issue at JFK. I arrived around 5p and found the check in process quick and easy. The staff were friendly and funny. The room was updated and large. I have no issues with the room. The area of town is a bit uncomfortable, so I would not recommend going out of the hotel. ||My only gripe is the lack of bottled water. The hotel indicated they have “been out of water”. How is a hotel in NYC out of water?!
