SpringHill Suites Franklin Cool Springs - Hotel in Franklin - 5011 Aspen Grove Dr, USA

This generally was a nice place to stay. The hotel, including the rooms, seemed modern, clean and convenient. They were nice sized. The bathrooms were clean, well-designed and functional, and the staff with whom we dealt were very friendly and helpful. The location is great -- right near the highway on/off exit for Franklin and relatively close to downtown Franklin and also to a wide range of restaurants and other services within walking distance. The price seemed reasonable for a nice and modern chain hotel in this category We cannot comment on the free breakfast because we did not eat breakfast in the hotel, but it appeared to be standard hotel buffet fare (bagged bagels, cereal, yogurt, eggs and make-your-own waffles.||Without diminishing these positives, I note three points for improvement. First, this was a very rare hotel in this category which charges anything for parking (much less the $10 per night here) when there is ample parking in front of the hotel and in an uncrowded parking ramp next to the hotel. Even though the hotel gives fair notice of this charge and I can afford the $10, it seems petty for a roadside hotel to charge to park a car rather than building parking into the rate. Second, I personally do not like that the hotel cleans rooms only every other day without a specific request. At this price point, daily cleaning should be a given -- at least throw out the garbage and provide clean towels daily. Third (and this is just a nit), there were only two glasses in the room. That is not enough for two people, e.g., that is only one glass per person for two nights/days and none if you want to put your toothbrushes in a glass or otherwise use two glasses for drinking.||So, all in all this is a really nice place that could use some minor service tweaking.

My friend and I stayed here for a concert at Firstbank Amphitheater. We met some great friends who were doing the same. I have always enjoyed the Springhill Suites brand and this trip was no different. The staff was great and helpful, I appreciate the free breakfast and the provided refrigerator, especially during the heat spell. I also appreciated the lighting in the bathroom. It's so nice when putting on makeup.

Location is very convenient. Overall the room was nice as was the hotel! Would love for the bar to stay open a bit later but there’s plenty of places nearby!

Amazing staff! Very helpful with our handicapped child and accommodating! They were able to last minute put us in a room that worked best for our needs and it made all of the difference! ||Very clean & beautiful rooms! Plenty of room for all of us and medical equipment to be comfortable!!

Have not stayed but just called to modify my CONFIRMED reservation from 5 to 4 nights and was told "there is no availability for those nights" so i can't help you. The agent said "I will send a note to the hotel but you cannot change it because there is NO AVAILABILITY". I have a room reserved already and have had this reservation for weeks --so there is a room open!! The man i spoke to was sooooo rude and just kept saying "there is no availability for those days". Insanity--all i was asking is to shorten my length of stay by ONE day. And my confirmation indicates changes have to happen by today at 11:59 pm and it is 9:18 pm. Will not stay at a Marriott property again. We travel extensively and thank goodness rarely have to use Marriott--such terrible and disappointing customer service. I am coming in for a horse show and WANT to stay for the 5 nights but need to amend plans due to a family issue. Then the rep was even more rude when i said please please make sure my reservation i snot cancelled because i am still coming on the 25th! DO BETTER MARRIOTT!!!

My favorite part of this hotel is the staff. They are always so professional, friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the best singing bartender Kevin. He will entertain you while also serving drinks with a smile. His memory of past guests is amazing. I highly recommend!

Clean rooms, shower pressure is LEGENDARY. The frosted sliding door to the bathroom leaves little privacy - not a fan. We stayed when there were several sports teams AND a wedding happening. While crowded, we heard nothing through walls when we were ready for bed. 👍🏻

Wonderful experience! Amazing staff, very accommodating with our special needs, disabled daughter, great hotel breakfast (that’s free!) and right next to great boutiques and coffee shops!
