SpringHill Suites East Lansing University Area - Hotel in East Lansing - 1100 Trowbridge Rd, USA

Rooms are really nice and very spacious. Excellent service at check in and check out. Location is perfect being right next to campus, convenience stores and a couple restaurants. Clean bathroom with nice shower. I mainly rate hotels on my sleep though. The bed was very comfortable however there were a lot of noises which kept me from getting a good sleep. The air unit in the room (and those around us) were the main complaint. It was very loud and when ours was off we could hear others kicking on. So we would stay here again, however, I would use ear plugs or make it so the air unit can is on throughout the night.

Great hotel! Kierra, one of the managers, was upper nice and helpful and deserves a shout out. The room was clean and nice! We’d assumed it was recently upgraded- but nope! This is just how it is. Only downside to the room was the A/C unit was a bit loud for me (hubby didn’t think so), but I always travel with ear plugs so I was fine. If using the pull out bed, it’s a bed that pulls out from the bottom of a West Elm couch, so not your typical uncomfortable pull out bed with a bar in the middle. The continental breakfast was just so-so and had the typical stuff. I have a feeling that a huge group much have come through before us and caused a big mess because it was a bit of a disaster- food stuff spilled everywhere, out of napkins, juice dispenser catch tray was full (how does that even happen?!?). The girl managing it was clearly trying to keep up so I give her props. Oh- this hotel shares a parking lot with a Starbucks. Would def come back if in the area.

We have stayed at this hotel when visiting the MSU campus over the last couple of years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The entire property is clean and well appointed. Rooms are clean, modern, and large. The complimentary breakfast is well plentiful and fresh. We always appreciate seeing Kierra whose customer service is unmatched in any hotel we have ever stayed in. All of the staff should be commended for their friendliness and attention to detail. If you're travelling to East Lansing give this wonderful hotel and chance and you won't be disappointed.

I was extremely pleased with this hotel. It's cleanliness and style was welcoming. You walk in and instantly can smell the not overwhelming air fresheners. The staff was warm and kind. Matthew was very patient and helpful when I needed him multiple times even with the phone ringing and guests after guest checking in. Thank you Matthew for making our stay great.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious, affordable, great location, friendly staff… I could keep going all day. From the moment you walk in the air smells relaxing and clean. The staff greeted me with such pleasant demeanor. I get up to the room and it’s so clean, smells great and has a relaxing feel. Long time Marriott customer, first time with Springhill Suites. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this choice.

I have stay in good hotels and bad hotels for close to 50 years. Springhill Suites in East Lansing was the first that made me say WOW. The layout of their rooms was unique. There was a sitting room when you came in with a foldout sofa, trundle bed and desk. The lobby was well appointed with a welcoming staff at all ours. They are dog friendly and have games like the biggest Connect Four and Jenna games.

Our group check in on March 29 , 2024 . The hotel was very clean and the staff was so friendly . Since our group need to check out early and request the breakfast open 30 mins earlier then suppose to be . Shana and Tiffany did a really great job , our group got 44p and their service was excellent . Our group will definitely stay in this hotel again . Thank you for all the hard work to make this happened .

Staff were helpful and friendly. The SH brand of Marriott room layout has its peculiarities. An XL closet, a comfortable 1pp sofa bed, two twin full XL (not queen) beds, and the barn door bathroom. We’re ok with that. The bad: TRAINS , TRAINS, and a 4am garbage or delivery truck with 150db safety backup beeper!!!! We won’t stay there again due to being right on the railroad tracks. Arggghhh…
