SpringHill Suites Durango - Hotel in Durango - 77 Mercury Village Dr, USA

The photos this hotel has uploaded to the site urgently need to be updated. The reason is that when we booked the hotel, my expectations were very low because it looked quite ordinary and simple. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel to be very luxurious and stylish when we arrived. Our room had a king bed and a sofa, which converted into a bed, meeting our children's needs for extra sleeping space. The room was also very clean, tidy, and spacious. The bathroom was excellent as well. The pool was a bit small, but we were satisfied with it. The spa pool was absolutely amazing. Regarding breakfast, the menu was lacking in diet-friendly options, but overall, it was satisfying. I would especially like to thank the staff. They were very polite. If I knew their names, I would leave a thank-you note for a few of them here.

Very happy with the room. Plenty of room for both me and my husband to spread out. The separate little sofa area was nice as he gets up earlier than I do and could be there without impending on my sleep. A walk-in closet which was a delight. The breakfast was also nice, a lot of variety.

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Durango. We always enjoy our stays at Springhill Suites and found the one in Durango to be top notch.|Clean, spacious King room. Found that we had everything we needed, including the little extras we've come to appreciate at Springhill. Always, extra towels and bedding blankets. Stocked toiletry bar soaps and bath dispensers. Even a small (trial) bottle of hand lotion. |Breakfast is included and is a broad selection from scrambled eggs and yogurts to waffles, fruit, and granola... And generally good tasting and stocked as well. We've had burnt scrambled eggs at other hotels before, but fresh and good here. The attendant always refreshed items even with a large crowd.|In all it was a very pleasant stay, and we appreciated the staff courtesy. We are sure we will plan on staying here again, when in Durango.

Great location, central to gas/walmart/nice river walking trails. Tianna did a fantastic job efficiently checking us in late at night. The only two things I wish were different: 1) improve the TV placement - it was off to the side of the room and hard to see from one of the beds. 2) include potatoes for breakfast - pretty much every other hotel breakfast does this. otherwise, the breakfast (options included sausage; eggs, fruit, make your own waffle, oatmeal, and juices) was decent. Would stay again!

Nasty pool and hot tub area. Beds lumpy, Pillows were super flat and smelled. Top bedding sheets dirty. Shower water was not hot in the least. Towels were more like rags. The "free" breakfast was super crowded and just long lines for waffles, coffee, etc. Just "not an up to snuff location" especially given the price and competition in the immediate area. Try the La Quinta was way better. .

If I could give zero stars I would. The property is nice but the customer services is terrible. My room was not clean and my linens were dirty upon arrival. They booked me for two different reservations under my name and charged me twice even though I am only one person, staying in one room. They have poor communication and never confirmed the original reservation. I only have email confirmation of one reservation and one reservation listed in my Bonvoy member app. They treat their customers with a huge lack of respect and do not listen to understand the issue even at the management level. They refuse to refund the other reservation stating they have no “documentation”, yeah neither do I which is why I shouldn’t be charged for something I didn’t reserve.

I don't know if it's bad luck, but we had many issues with our room. The air conditioner was extremely loud and didn't let any of us sleep the whole night. Our body wash in the shower was completely empty, and there was barely any tissues in our bathroom. Based on the prices, you're better off staying somewhere else. Also the pool was closed too!

My family and I stayed here for several nights. The kids loved the indoor pool, and the room was large enough to sleep five people comfortably. The staff here were some of the most friendly, welcoming, and helpful people that I’ve encountered in hundreds of stays throughout the Marriott network. Tianna, Joelle, and Victoria were particularly kind and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! Thank you! We will be back soon!
