Terrible lack of cleanliness at this hotel. The sofa bed looks like a mattress that should be in the trash, not in a hotel room. The toilet was completely dirty and crusted with filth. I will never stay at this hotel again because of its lack of cleanliness, nor do I recommend it to anyone. Cleaning seems limited to spraying air fresheners in all the hallways. No one came to clean our rooms despite requesting this at check in (you need to ask for housekeeping to come by). We had a double bed plus sofa bed room. The sofa bed mattress was so disgusting that my daughter had to sleep on top of the sofa with double sheets. The next day we left early. When we arrived back after 5PM, our hotel room hadn’t been cleaned and housekeeping leaves so no one could clean nor fix sofa bed. I should have trusted the reviews—this hotel does not have cleaning as a top priority. It is very apparent through out the building.
Rooms are decent when cleaned. However service is iffy. They are polite, but cannot do anything to help you if you have a problem. The location is incredibly inconvenient. I had food stolen from in front of my room. They dont have security cameras so if anything is stolen you are S-O-L. Ill be staying at
My recent stay was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I encountered issues with the lights in my initial room. Despite being promptly relocated, the troubles persisted. On Saturday, I found myself locked out of my room due to faulty door locks. Despite the efforts of the front desk staff, including attempts with the master key, access remained unattainable. This ordeal not only caused immense frustration but also disrupted plans, including a special surprise for my daughter's 6th birthday. The inability to access essential belongings and being effectively locked in the room added further inconvenience. While the assistance provided was appreciated, the overall experience fell short of expectations. I would have expected better maintenance and prompt resolution of such issues. Even after the lock was fixed after 7pm, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. The final straw came the next morning when breakfast was a no-show at 8 am, leaving me with no option but to check out early. It's disheartening to see such a decline in service and attention to detail. I'll be exploring other hotel options for my future stays.
This hotel could be one of the best in the area but one thing that drove me crazy and has me doubting whether I will return is the ANT issue. They know they have it and don’t seem to be bothered by it. Never had that issue at any hotel before. They told me it was b/c it was getting warm but I’ve been in other hotels in the same area w/n the same timeframe and there are ZERO pests. It’s not even warm yet so that’s a poor excuse. For one thing, there are no bags in the trash cans so you’ll likely have this problem until you change that. Customer service is varied. One guy was extremely nice at the desk, but the others - hit or miss. He greeted me every time; the others acted like they weren’t that enthusiastic about me being there. I had to switch rooms twice and one time was b/c of the ants. Some issues with TV freezing repeatedly- made it hard to really get into the shows. More cable options would be great. Some rooms quieter than others. In my first room I could hear kids running all night long. Second room was quieter. Again, could be much better if staff were more attentive. Not bad, but a missed opportunity to be great. Should be a better representation of Marriott.
Great location for the concert. Room was great size. Staff friendly thank you. Small area around breakfast area for waffle making. Kind of in the way to get the rest of hot food
originally booked for 4 days june 14th- june 18th for 4 days Stayed here with my mother that is an employee from another location the first night June 14th room smelled like smoke so we spent the night and decided to collect are things and leave in the morning. we called to check out june 15th and was told we would be checked out but for whatever reason was actually charged a full 4 days $400+ plus taxes and fees called management for weeks and was given the run around and they wont give back any of the funds we only stayed for 1 night will not be coming back to this location and do not recommend this location to anyone in the future horrible service from front desk to back end. i feel most likely were being profiled and treated wrongly do to race at this point.
Like a high-end inn, not worth for the price. Big door gap and thin wall; lucky me, been hearing someone moaning long time from the next room. Have requested no end unit but the first one they gave me was the end unit then had to switch room again due to TV and toilet issue. I won't return to this one again end of the story. These pictures were not from the original room but the switch over which was brighter and much comfortable.
This could easily be a 4 or 4.5 hotel if a little money was invested in it. Until then it’s a 3, but I’m willing to return.||The good: Very clean; bed was comfortable; plenty of hot water and pressure; breakfast was the usual stuff; location is right off 66 and 28, so it’s easy to get around; plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute drive; mini fridge and microwave; good WiFi; friendly front desk.||The not so good: Dated rooms, which would be ok were they fully functional. I had the same wobbly dangerous desk chair as another reviewer. Picture on both TVs would freeze every few minutes, regardless of channel. No clock in room. Only plug by the beds is behind the nightstand. Softest pillows to the point where three barely equals one. Couch is uncomfortable to sit (didn’t use to sleep). ||With a remodel this could really be a great place.
