SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Estero - Hotel in Estero - 10370 Corkscrew Commons Dr, USA

Hi! This hotel was so nice and clean, but we had some unfortunate interactions with staff that left us feeling frustrated and unlikely to actually book this Springhill location again. 1) We were booked with our entire soccer team and less than a week before the reservation, half of the rooms were canceled because they were overbooked. Thankfully ours wasn't but that was a bummer when we expected to all stay together. 2) I called a week ahead of our stay to ask for a late check out at 2 pm. I was told they marked the request on our reservation and to just confirm when we arrived. However, when we checked in there was no note about late check out and we were told we had to be out by 1. Fine - but when I double checked the next morning I was told, once again, that there was no late check out request noted on our reservation. So that was frustrating. 3) Our tv remote was not working properly and seemed to be out of batteries. I took it to the front desk around 7 pm and I was told they couldn't help me and that there were no extra batteries available and I'd have to wait until maintenance arrived the next morning. I thought that was strange and it felt like the staff person just didn't want to go look for them. 4) One of our teammate's rooms did not have any AC. That alone would make me look elsewhere for a place to stay 5) TERRIBLE water pressure. 6) No water in the lobby which is typical in all hotels - breakfast was pretty good but no water? That was weird. This property has a lot of potential - some staff training/better management would fix a lot of these issues.

Stay away if service is important to you. I had a horrible experience with the front desk person, her name is Chiane. When I called later and spoke with the front desk manager, she did not even offer an apology for the way her employee treated me.

I stayed at this hotel to visit my daughter at FGCU. I was checked into a room on the first floor and saw a flea. Showed front desk employee video of it and was given another room. The 2nd night in this room I found a dead bed bug. I had several red, itchy bites on my lower legs. I put the bed bug in a ziploc bag and showed the front desk employee and the manager told the front desk employee to tell me they would let pest control know. No apologies, or any compensation. Employees seem very angry and disengaged. I know dealing with the public isn’t easy but you have to have some customer service skills.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are fresh and clean. Seems like a nice area with new construction all around. Only downside, hot water is just hot enough to be considered hot. Just barely.

So far from check in the evening to front desk staff this morning 2/5 a very unfriendly staff that have poor attitudes! They should not be working in customer sevice especially for Marriott!

It was fine...breakfast was subpar. Had a friend with us that their AC went out and hotel was booked solid. Got to 85 degrees in his room overnight. We he went to talk to manager they gave him $20 off his room. What a joke. Dont stay here.

Comfortable room, nice people working there. Breakfast included. Very good location, good restaurants around and big outlet cross the street

This hotel was so loud and the staff was inept. Terrible experience with simple billing for a one night stay that took months to correct. Management provided horrible follow up help and accountability. I will never stay here again.
