SpringHill Suites Bradenton Downtown/Riverfront - Featured Reviews (524)
Would stay again. Comfortable beds, nice desks, awesome shower with massaging water pressure. I will stay here over all the other places. Has the nice restaurant attached and walking distance to Pier 22. They do have an air conditioner that is covered by the bench in the back of the room. It wasn't loud and kept the room cool.
Location, rooms, service are all a breath of fresh air. We really enjoyed our last several visits to this hotel. Take a walk along a clean boardwalk leading from the hotel along the
water taking in the view of all the yachts, and people coming and going. Stop and enjoy one of the swings over looking the waterway, and have an ice cream along the way. Don't miss the rooftop bar and casual resturaunt on the rooftop of the hotel while taking in a stunning sunset.
This is my second time visiting this hotel. As usual I check the beds for bugs because I'm afraid of bugs. As I removed the sheets and moved the mattress I saw a box of adult protection products. It was disgusting therefore did not touch them to throw them away. There were fingerprints all over the alarm clock and other items. The breakfast had a great variety and the location of the hotel is perfect. Your about 20 min from Anna Maria Island. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and had a great experience. We tried going to the rooftop but it was scorching hot and humid. I really like this hotel and would love to return however will not be returning due to the lack of cleanliness.
We were getting married in the Bradenton area and because we are from out of state we wanted a hotel in a good location to walkable restaurants/shops/cafes in order to accommodate our family and friends who were coming for the weekend without rental cars. This hotel is in a stunning area! The hotel it self is stunning, free breakfast and parking. From the moment we checked in we were greeted positively and so was our guests. The hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. The restrooms in the lobby were always well kept and clean! The staff were very nice and helpful at all times! The rooftop is stunning and it was definitely a great addition to our guest. ALSO oak and stone is UNREAL!!!!! Every item off their menu is actually ridiculous how good it is. The philly cheese steak egg rolls - i mean WOW. This hotel made it easy for out of state and in state guests. So much so some of our guests extended their stay. 10/10 Recommend !
Initially, I was apprehensive when booking due to some of the reviews. Adrianna at the front desk had a great attitude and was extremely helpful. It is a great location for a morning stroll. I would highly recommend bringing some cleaning wipes as you begin your stay. The room wasn’t filthy but there were definitely some spots missed during the cleaning process. There was a delay with the tv remote. The breakfast was edible but not appetizing. For my two night stay, I was only truly able to eat the bagel and cream cheese. There is a rooftop restaurant at this location. As someone, who is not typically moved by views, it was unparalleled with the perfect amount of breeze. The food was reasonably priced and I was thoroughly surprised at the quality. I typically don’t consume red meat, but the burger was perfect. Bravo to our server Jordan (I believe it was her name - short, young woman with dark brown/black hair) for the recommendation. I would be open to returning to the location. While I understand that housekeeping has a great deal of work to do, I believe if there is a slight adjustment with the level of cleaning it would elevate one’s experience. As it relates to the breakfast quality, I would suggest this location revamp the breakfast menu or at the very least re-examine the quality of the food (especially the eggs and meat selection). This property has immense potential of being a 5 star location.
I recently stayed at Springhill Suites and, unfortunately, had an extremely unpleasant experience. During my stay from July 5 -9, I discovered bedbugs in my room. ||Despite the hotel's appealing amenities and convenient location, finding bedbugs on the day I was checking out significantly overshadowed any positives. I promptly reported the issue to the front desk, but the response was inadequate. There was no immediate offer to assist me or provide any form of compensation. What was stated was we will have pest control take a look at it on the 10th and get back to you. ||We checked out on the 9th at 5:30 am, and by 4 pm that afternoon, there were new guests in both rooms. When I asked the manager, Lyndsay Barnhart, why the rooms were reoccupied after I had shown her our bites and provided pictures and videos of the bedbugs, she claimed to have inspected the rooms and found no signs of bedbugs. However, earlier in the day, I had been informed that pest control would be inspecting the rooms the next day.||I booked two rooms for myself and my kids, and we all ended up with bites from bedbugs in both rooms. Dealing with bedbugs not only ruined our stay but also caused significant inconvenience and stress, as I had to ensure our belongings were free from infestation upon returning home.||I urge the hotel management to address this serious issue promptly and take the necessary measures to prevent future occurrences. For now, or in the future I cannot recommend staying at this hotel until they resolve their bedbug problem.
This hotel had everything we needed - great location across from a marina, nice clean and new rooms, friendly service (front desk lady in the evening was super sweet), delicious food at the grill on the first floor. And killer views of the sunset over the water! Sat for two hours to watch the sun set after swimming in the little pool. Totally recommend this place! And it's right next to the public library, too. Win!
This hotel is a very nice one! It is clean, staff helpful & location is convenient to downtown. The views from the rooftop pool & lounge area are amazing. The only downside is parking-there is plenty of it, but it’s about a 5 min. walk to the parking garage.
