SpringHill Suites Avon Vail Valley - Featured Reviews (16)
The hotel itself was nice. The a/c actually worked well! My husband and daughter enjoyed the tiny outdoor pool - it was surprisingly warm! But $20 to park, kind of in the middle of nowhere? We really felt like we were being taken advantage of on that one. Breakfast was adequate - the staff were working hard but you got the vibe they were understaffed. The coffee was super weak. For the price we paid for a room, parking should have been included and the coffee should have been decent.
A new budget priced hotel in this area offered by the Marriott group. I like the location. It's one exit(168) east of the Avon exit from I-70. There is a gas station/convenient store next to the hotel. If Vail, Avon and Edwards are the places you intend to visit, this location is within a 10 minutes drive. Parking could be a bit challenged if you arrive the hotel at the later hours of the evening. Out of the 2 nights I stayed, I received no room service even I did check the box for extra room service. The room was clean but no soap was provided for some reason. Due to the price point and location, I will still consider staying at this hotel for the Bonvoy points, especially when I am traveling alone.
Charges $20 to park at the hotel you paid to stay at. There's no other parking nearby. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. Brand new building, elevators were down. Went to exit and they had closed the exit for the window cleaners and made no mention of it so when I had to turn around in a semi truck not so much fun. The window cleaners were on a sky jack the entire weekend. No privacy, noisy. $300 a night.
Brand new hotel just off interstate 70. Staff was great, and pool was nice to relax by on a hot afternoon. They Charge $20 for parking per night which I thought was too much. Poor selection of prepared meals in lobby shop. Huge gas station across the street had pizza and a few other items. I was traveling with dogs so limited on where I could go out to eat. Walking trail directly across from hotel.
Just wrote to Marriott Customer Care, seeking transparency, integrity and accountability obo travelers with Marriott Gift cards. The whole experience felt like falling victim of fraud at the biggest Hotel chain of the world: Check-in & out of the Hotel by Marriott gift card payment with no problem. Later received a call from a Hotel associate asking for the full gift card number & security pin "for billing confirmation". Next hour, all gift card remaining balance was gone! Felt being scammed, I called the Hotel next day to inquire, and was told in a very impatient tone that it would be refunded by the Accounting. Now, 2 more weeks gone by, absolutely nothing come back from the Hotel... my gift card was zeroed out completely. After all, I was scammed!
This hotel purports to be in Avon. It is, however, in the exact center of nowhere, in the center of nothing. And then, to charge a $20 a night parking fee, when there is literally nowhere else to park is nothing short of extortionate. The so-called mountain view was a brown hill behind a gas station. The breakfast was disgusting - dry and rubbery eggs, greasy bacon, tasteless waffles. And bring your own pillow unless you enjoy sleeping on a rock. Housekeeping is only every other day. TownePlace Suites are in the same building and presumably have the same issues.
Clean rooms in a new hotel. Service was ok as they continued to train new employees (open 5 months at point of review). The biggest complaint is the $20 to park!!! It's an open lot in a rural area...no need to charge parking except as a cash grab.
The hotel is isolated up on Buffalo Ridge and they insist|you pay $20 per night for parking....open air and uncovered.|Talk about a "junk fee".|Just add $20 to the room price if you must and don't add junk fees|which only surprise and annoy your guests.|Otherwise, a brand new hotel with great views and stylish decor.|Staff were readily available to address any minor deficiencies.
Luxurious housing in Vail, Colorado. The unit is quite large with high quality furniture and appliances. Car parking is valet and complimentary to guests. There is also complimentary shuttles between hotel and near by Vail or Lionshead Village - In a
Staying in vail was not in our initial plan on our road trip to Colorado but we had one day extra and we decided to stay in vail. Iâm so glad we were there. This place was one of the best highlights of our 2 week trip. This property is gorgeous, th
We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
Beautiful dog park. I stopped on my travels from the West Coast to the Midwest. Not far off the freeway and very friendly locals. Beautiful spot in the valley.
I was in Vail for a work trip with several colleagues and on a day when a few of us went skiing, we all decided to meet here for lunch during the day. The location and atmosphere is amazing, with great views of the mountains. The food was really good
Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place. Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup. Friendly service.
Great Italian restaurant in Vail. Highly recommend reservations, although one can arrive early and get to snag a seat at the bar (which often has people eating there). They have a nice wine selection, which because itâs Colorado, you can take your
From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a w
