I usually stay on Disney property when I come to town, but decided to give SpringHill Suites a try on D23 weekend which was right next to the convention. From arriving after flying across the country the staff was welcoming and helpful. I did not have a room available right away at 11am, but did not expect to. They have a big bathroom by check in with plenty of space to change with exceptional lighting. There is a water bottle refill station outside the bathroom for convenience. I hit the parks which is only a short walk and came back later to freshen up and check into my room. My bags were ready to pick up right away! Mimi was super helpful in the evenings to answer any questions I had. Breakfast was included: bagels, cream cheese, Mickey waffles, juices, eggs, bacon, sausage just to name what I ate. Thanks again!

We spent 6 days at this hotel and the issues started at checkin. I had 2 separate reservations and asked to stay in the same room for both reservations. Initially, the woman said that I would have to switch rooms since it was sold out. I have never had an issue with this at any hotel before. Luckily the manager walked by and said it could be done and told her what to do.||I will start with the good. The rooms are huge. The separation of the living room and bedroom is great. The bathroom|is also spacious, but there is a lack of shelf space. The mini fridge holds a lot of food, but one downside is that it offers no way to freeze ice packs for the day.||Now for the bad. The housekeeping staff here is downright horrible. The body wash pump in the shower was out and they didn't replace it. I had to call down. The the same happened to the shampoo and conditioner, and neither were replaced. I had to call down. They left no extra toilet paper, so I had to call down for that and they had nobody to bring it to me in the morning. Twice when I asked for a trash and towel refresh when I was heading out for the day, they didn't do anything so I had to call in the evening. The plumbing is so bad that when you shower the hot water will oscillate between hot and cool if it is during a time when many people are showering. Water pressure sucks. Also, I guess they assume you are going to the parks at the crack of dawn because one of the housekeepers knocked on my door at 9:30 AM and I asked for her to come back in a couple hours and she sighed. Give me a break!

Love love LOVE our stay here! Marlene was super friendly and ensured that we got our room to rest after flying for 24 hours to LA. Breakfast was lovely and the Mickey waffles was just perfect! Room was comfortable and I have never slept better in a hotel! Great accommodation with great location to Disneyland!

Loved the location, such a short walk to Disneyland. Price was right and they had family suites. Floors are secure, only way up is with a room key. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices to satisfy everyone. Dean and the staff are great and friendly. We were greated every time we entered the lobby, they pay attention to their guests. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Good walking distance to Disney. Place is ok. It’s high traffic and can be better maintained. I’ve stayed at better kept SpringHill before. Solid 3, and has your basic needs. but +1 for close distance to Disney.

Springhill Suites, Anaheim: Mixed Experience The Springhill Suites in Anaheim offered a clean and comfortable room, which was a plus. The Mickey waffles at breakfast were a delightful treat for the kids. However, the hotel's shortcomings significantly impacted our overall stay. The parking situation was incredibly inconvenient. The limited parking spaces forced us to park in an off-site garage, which was a hassle, especially considering the lack of valet service. Additionally, the noise level in the room was disturbing, making it difficult to relax after a long day at the parks. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired. While the Mickey waffles were a hit, the sausage was overcooked and the eggs were simply unpleasant. Furthermore, the limited seating in the main dining area created unnecessary congestion during peak breakfast times. Given these issues, we will undoubtedly explore other accommodation options for our next family Christmas trip to Disneyland. We hope the hotel takes these critiques into consideration to improve the guest experience.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. The location is great, just short walk to Disneyland and shops. However, the rooms are outdated and not well maintained. The first room we checked into had a very strong paint smell. After unpacking we realized that the bathroom door and bunk bed had just been stained and were still sticky and smelly. We had to change rooms. The rooms don't have proper ventilation (it's probably malfunctioning), they get extremely mucky within a couple hours and there is nothing you can do about it. The insulation is horrible, we could hear every single footstep taken by the guests above us, to the point where when their kid was running at 6am, it woke up our whole family. The rooftop pool is nice and great for kids. Breakfast was quite mediocre, nothing like the advertised pictures.

Wife and I came here with my adult daughter, her husband and our grandchild as well as our other children. Two families in one room, for 3 days/two nights. The rooms were nicely appointed. The bunk beds for the kids were great, they had their own little nook with its own TV, etc. The bathroom was nice if a bit small. The shower was good. This hotel is a short walk to Disneyland, and so it's a pretty nice location. Lots of restaurants to walk to, and the in hotel breakfast is actually pretty nice, clean and well done; but with so many kids you'd think they would have lids for their plastic cups. They do not. They take security here seriously: you need a key card to use the elevators. Now let's talk about the downsides. 1. They do not do housekeeping for two night stays. You have to specifically request it. This is a ridiculous and wrongheaded policy when you've got families and sometimes multiple families in one suite. The staff were incredulous when I pointed that out to them. I realize it's Cali, and a wholly different culture...but wanting the room made up is not an out of bounds request. (Our trash was full, and we needed towels) 2. The parking here is EXTREMELY limited, and I do mean EXTREMELY. If you plan to park here, get there before your check in time and ask for a parking pass. This hotel has basically a one level underground parking garage. They have overflow parking in one of the other hotel garages, but who wants to load/unload stuff from that far away? Which leads me to... 3. This hotel has 4-5 luggage carts for the whole hotel, and they do a terrible job of tracking them. We managed to just barely get one for loading up the night before we departed. No luck when we arrived though. Staff were helpless when it came to this. They may want to consider trackers for these. Either way, huge hassle. 4. If you want to wash and dry 1 load of laundry here, it's going to be $8. In quarters. I've seen some overpriced washer/dryers in my time...but this was a little steep, even in the heart of Disneyville. Other minor issues: they do have USB ports in the rooms, but they're very old, and worn. So are a lot of the outlets. We had trouble keeping stuff plugged in sometimes. All in all, a decent hotel and not too badly priced considering its location. If you're willing to deal with the downsides, it's not a bad place to stay if you're visiting the mouse.
