SpringHill Suites Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton - Hotel in Placentia - 380 S Placentia Ave, USA

I recently stayed here and it was extremely disappointed with the experience. Very rude and unwelcoming staff (from the weekend night shift). From the moment we checked in, the evening staff's behavior was discourteous and discriminatory. Someone in my party who uses a service dog was initially told, "we don’t accept pets on this property." When we informed them that it was a service animal, the staff member asked, "do you have the documentation?" After explaining that such documentation doesn't exist, they proceeded to ask, "what’s your disability?". This invasive questioning is a clear violation of the ADA and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This happened with the person at the front desk and didn’t get better once their manager showed up. Both extremely rude and condescending. Additionally, we encountered further mistreatment when we requested water. The staff told us they do not provide water and directed us to refill our own at the gym. However, we observed that they were giving water to other guests. When we questioned this, we were rudely informed that the water was only for Diamond members. While I understand there are membership tiers, the manner in which this was communicated was condescending and disrespectful, especially considering that I was a Diamond member a couple months back. For the following two nights, the evening staff's bad attitude persisted. Every interaction was met with rudeness, making what should have been a relaxing stay quite stressful. Every night it was the same staff. As someone who stays at Marriott hotels quite often, since it’s a preferred partner for my company, I expected much better. This is the first time I've encountered such poor service at a Marriott property, and I hope that they will take steps to improve their customer service and training on ADA compliance. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Not concerned at all with customer service, honoring rates reserved, or helping to resolve concerns when requested. Also will resort to insulting a 20 year, lifetime elite Bonvoy member to justify their decisions, very disappointed in this poorly run location , especially considering that 99% of my experiences with Marriott properties are great. Don’t stay here, the price is low for a reason - their reputation precedes them.

This was a fantastic hotel! We loved the layout of the room, and the breakfast was terrific! Yolanda, and all the kitchen staff, made it especially magical for our kids! She is a big part of the reason we have booked another trip for this coming week. Highly recommend!

Hotel and staff were nice. However, the frequently running train and freeway noise make this location a no go for us in the future.||In all fairness, we could only hear the noise from the train and the freeway while in the bathroom. Could differ based on the location of your room.||Breakfast was decent as well, although limited offerings, but if you’re going to eat at the hotel, go early!

Springhill Suites at Anaheim/Placentia Fullerton hotel is nicely built and offers a delicious breakfast bar. However, the reason of this review is that the rooms are not being cleaned thoroughly. The shower had rust near the shower door and the shower heads appear to have white mold on them. I think cleaning standards need to be set and the bathrooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly.

Greatful we were able to get last minuet accommodations. The location was clean-ish, quite, we were able to sleep and move on with our vacation. It was s life saver after of previously booked hotel screwed us over. Didn't make time for breakfast.

Upon check in I was greeted and checked in by Avriel, she was kind and got me in with ease. She went over in detail about my stay, the hours of breakfast, pool and gym. Exceptional service from her. Thank you! The place was nice, room was spacious, clean upon arrival. The place is next to a train track, but honestly it was no biggie for me and my family. Breakfast was awesome! There was a wide array of selections! If you didn't have time to eat, by the desk was a little "breakfast on the go", which was like fruits, bread something small to take with you. Overall this place was great, it was only 15-20 minutes from Disneyland taking side streets. Would definitely stay here again.

Our 11 month old baby were left crying in the lobby due to hunger for 2 hours because we forgot our key in the room and they did not record our ID although we have provided at check-in. They only recorded 1 ID of one of the person in the group while we had booked multiple rooms. When we checked-in, the person on the ID weren’t even there. The receptionist named NESTOR said he couldn’t give us a new key because of ‘security reasons’ while they don’t consider it’s not secure to not record information on all the guests staying and accepting ID without the person’s presence. We even asked to just open the door so we can grab the baby’s things and NESTOR did not try to come out of his way to help us like most well-educated hotel staffs are around the world. He acknowledged that they did not follow the government’s regulations to register IDs of all the guests and ignorantly said ‘that’s how we do it here’. He did not even show any sympathy towards the baby even if he couldn’t assist, he also described us ‘coming in with a bunch of luggages’ with a cold face and cold attitude, ignoring the baby’s well-being. We were never treated like this at other Marriott/Accor/IHG hotels. We stayed at 2 SpringHill hotels in 2 different cities before coming here and they were way better, this one is a great disappointment.||The staffs here were very unprofessional, immoral and inhospitable.
