It's a poolside bar, not a restaurant. The hotel and owner's description is very misleading; my kids could come up with more than 9 dishes; and a few sidewalk tables are not an intimate atmosphere. The limited breakfast spread was a nice surprise after the other reviews of a $20 fruit bowl and coffee.

The bistro and tides pool bar are one and the same, just one is outside. The atmosphere is great and comfortable and food is good, at best. There’s not a great entree on their menu. It’s pool bar food, that’s mostly tasteless. The drinks are way overpriced and not always made well, especially the old fashioned. The self proclaimed experts there can’t get that one right. To get coffee, it’s like a lot of the Marriott locations where you have to buy a Starbucks instead of having a coffee pot. There are a lot of other local options within walking distance which in our opinion might be better options. If you’re staying there and hanging out in the pool all day, it’s just fine.

Decided to try the Tides for late lunch. Was greeted by George (bartender) he was very helpful and so pleasant. Made great menu suggestions on what to eat. The Fernandina Hot Chicken sandwich was the bomb. Fish tacos with swordfish delish. Chef Nico not only made sure we were taken care of but pitch in where he was needed. Great service great atmosphere we will be back Ps Get some overhead fans to keep your bartenders and staff cool.😎

Poolside bar and casual restaurant at the Springhill Suites on Atlantic off of A1A. A lot of splashing, kids yelling and people prancing around in bathing suits without first consulting a mirror but, we expected that. The drinks and menu items are hotel pricy. We ordered 2 items (lumpia and brisket cheese fries) which were very good. My 2 star rating is a response to the unbelievably loud live music (solo act). We were at the bar and it was difficult to order because the bartender could not hear us and we couldn't understand her either. We couldn't hold a conversation until the guy went on break. I would hate to have a room near the pool. I used to play in a band and like to see a guitarist lay down a riff through a stack of Marshall's but, not when I'm out for dinner with my wife. This was our first and last time at Tides.

Ordered a coffee and Breakfast sandwich-bun was hard as a rock and sandwich was essentially tasteless. Coffee was hot though I was charged $1.80 for three pumps of syrup-silliness. Fruit was fresh and the best part. Spent $20 on this!

Great food drinks and service is amazing! Love Collette Niko and Dane! Music is a little to loud! But I love my days by the pool !

We sat at the bar for 10 mins, 2 other people walked up and were served almost immediately and prior to us, so we left.

The location and service at this hotel are great, but the pictures must have been taken awhile ago, and the rooms need updating. Our room smelled of mildew from the moment we got there. I know this happens close to the ocean but this is why maintenan
