This koa is really nice!! Would give a better mark, but the train is very loud, and the office that sells pizza closes at 5 pm, so we never got to go in. The showers and bathrooms are really nice! The location to everything is really good. I left in the dark, so I was not able to get all the pics I wanted. They have 3 dog parks!! One of the parks is just for the patio sites. Everything I could look at was very clean and well maintained. One really nice thing is that the showers and bathrooms have controls for the heat, so you can warm it up when you shower. Nice outside the kitchen, too.
We were on a road trip from CO to VA and needed a place to stop for the night with our dogs! This place was perfect. The dogs loved the dog park. Also the staff was very kind and accommodating. They had firewood and fire starters for us when we arrived, they also had the heater turned on and ready before our arrival, and just overall super helpful with our entire stay! We would definitely go back.
The service is great, people are very kind and nice. That’s why I feel bad to not give a very good review of the place but I must be honest. The cabins are nice and everything is working well and it’s overall clean. The air con and the heating system are working well. The parking spot is really nice and well done. We have enough space to park our vehicles without trouble. The amenities and the kid park + scenery are really nice. However, - the cabin could be cleaner. spider webs/dust on the wall, ceiling, etc. - the water is hard to adjust in kt2 cabin bathtub. - the train is a bother if you are light sleeper or if you are use to wake up after 6 am. But overall a good stop before going to the next destination. The camp is really clean and welcoming. At least you will not be late to take the road. And for long term resident, I imagine that you will get use to.
This is a really nice camp. Good wifi. Huge yard for dogs and kids to play in. Staff is very friendly. Pool was closed for the season (we stayed here in November) but they have a really nice seating area with tables. Also in peak season the have a train ride for kids. 2 fenced in dog parks. Playground. Tent, cabin, and RV sites. Lots to do in the area. Very safe camp. Sites are level amd flat gravel. Only bad thing (which is not a fault of the camp), but there are trains that run and the whistles can be loud so noise sensitive kids, adults, or pets should be aware prior to booking. It's not constant, probably 5 trains in a 24 hour period. We would stay here again. Also they do offer long-term stays in rv sites at a very reasonable rate plus electricity.
Nice clean park. But maybe a little pricey for what it is. A train is right next door so if you are a light sleeper it may disturb you. It did not bother us. There are several full timers but everyone seemed nice. We were in and out so we didn’t get to meet any staff. They were very nice on the phone.
We stayed two nights. The hosts of the campground have done an excellent job of keeping the lots cleaned, the table and chairs were a welcome sight. The bathrooms, laundry and TV room were clean and spacious. We ordered a pizza when we got there and a breakfast pizza before we left. Both were excellent. I would recommend this RV park to anyone. And being on Route 66 made it a very special place for both of us.
We had a wonderful stay here, although train horns did awaken my wife several times during the night. The sites are nice and well arranged, and the bathrooms were nice - the individual shower rooms and half-baths in the separate bathhouse were a nice touch.
Great campground! Sits amongst the trees and is very peaceful. All the staff here are very kind and courteous and very helpful. The campsites are gravel and have a cement patio with table and chairs and a fire pit. Some even have wooden swings to sit on. The WiFi was excellent! There was a small tower just to the back of our site. I saw three dog parks even though we didn’t use them. We did not use the shower house for showers but was in there once and it was very clean. There are activities all around the campground to entertain your kids/grandkids. The campground is near a railroad track and you do hear trains go by. Additionally, it is close to the airport. I would not hinder this from staying here. For these RV newbies, we a great experience! The cinnamon sugar donuts were great!

The best Brazilian jiu jitsu gym I've been to! The instructors are top-notch, and the atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. If you've been considering trying martial arts, whether you're young or old, male or female, this place is for you!
