Spring Valley Inn - Hotel in Spring Green - 6279 County Rd C, USA

The Reservation process via the hotel website, the location, parking, Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired building design and furnishings, and the spacious and beautiful grounds were all positives. The morning and afternoon reception desk attendants were very nice, knowledgeable, efficient, professional and customer service-oriented.||The breakfast was wonderful, and there were refrigerated cases full of beverages and snack items for purchase.||Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet, with USB ports, a large closet area, a comfortable bed, and good Wi-Fi and seating options. It was very evident that the hotel owners and staff members cared deeply about providing their guests with nice accommodations. However, the humidity in the room, 60-70%, was higher than what is comfortable for me, and the room smelled slightly musty. Thankfully, the window opened to provide some fresh air.

We would highly recommend Spring Valley Inn. It really is a cut above your average “small town” hotel. Everything is well thought out. The staff is motivated and pleasant. The breakfast bar isn’t the typical minimalist style, like the ones found in the hotels along the interstate; the bread is good, the toasters work well, etc. The landscaping is really nice, someone has clearly invested time and effort in the plantings decorating the spacious outdoor areas. ||Overall, we were left with the impression that someone really cares about creating a pleasant experience for their guests. That alone is worth quite a bit.

Tripadvisor doesn't seem to give you a 'good' option, which is what I would have selected. There were many positive aspects to our stay here - friendly, welcoming hosts, comfortable beds, very easy access to Taliesin, a lovely big swimming pool and hot tub (we didn't actually try the sauna). A great deal of thought has gone into the decor and design, building on the Frank Lloyd Wright connections.|However, for well over $200 a night for two of us, we would have appreciated china and glassware at breakfast, not just disposable plates etc. It all just felt a bit cheap, at odds with what was clearly the original ambition.

Overall, it's a good place to stay if you're in the area. Rooms are clean. Pillow wasn't the greatest but otherwise no complaints. Breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs, sausage, breads, pastries and cereal. Dining area was clean. I'd stay there again.

I was literally amazed at how great the experience was for my son and I. We took an 'adventurous' road trip..and wanted to see the local attractions. From the moment of our arrival, we were greeted by Audrey, and she took the time to point out restaurants and help map our routes...and invited us back down later for the campfire, drinks and snacks! The room was super comfortable, we slept so good! The breakfast provided we took in the lounge area and was so enjoyable, as we watched the plethora of birds while we fueled up before our daily expeditions! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool area...alot of times by ourselves, but never crowded. I originally tried to book at the house on the Rock resort, but since they were full, we ended up here, and I can honestly say, I am glad. So friendly, so clean, such a great atmosphere...especially for a woman traveling alone with her son...very secure! Love the nightly campfires because that encouraged people to talk about their daily adventures! We will definitely visit again! Oh, I was also impressed with the charging station in the room, and the Keurig style coffee pot to hold me over while I waited for my son to wake and get down to breakfast! It was all so perfectly done....small atmosphere, with the right amount of camaraderie. My son loved to get a snack or an ice cream to bring out to the fire...thank you for an amazing stay!

It had been a few years since my friends and I had stayed here. We were so very impressed with the upgrades recent remodeling provided! No longer dated, very Frank Lloyd Wrightesque! Loved to sit around the fire pit with a glass of wine after the APT play. So very close to the theatre. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay. When we checked in we were greeted as though we were friends. Our room was clean and the grounds are wonderful. The Hotel is centrally located and the common areas are very nice. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it did look very inviting. Will definitely stay here again.

Spring Valley Inn is a welcoming, friendly, clean and comfortable place to stay in Spring Green. Perfect if you are going to see plays at APT or exploring other things in the area. The Inn has a beautiful garden area and you can sit outside and enjoy breakfast if the weather is good, or eat in the cool dining room where all the furniture looks like Frank Lloyd Wright designs. My friend enjoyed the pristine pool. We always stay at the Spring Valley Inn when we are in the area.
