Spring Gulch Campground - Campground in New Holland - 475 Lynch Rd, USA

Great staff,bathrooms were very clean,the banquet hall was awesome for dancing. Our cabin was beautiful,very clean. The scenery from our cabin was amazing. One thing would be nice if you were able to leave like dish soap or other necessities for the next person renting. Other than that,my family and I had a great stay! Thank you Spring Gulch

We loved staying at Spring Gulch Campground during our visit to Amish Country. We had an RV site in the 1500 Elite section. Sites are wooded and private and the campground was within 20-35 minutes of most places we wanted to visit. The campground was extremely quiet during weekdays but did get much busier during the weekend. A lot of golf carts driving around but everyone was well behaved. Since the Phillies made the post season, we were really happy the cable included NBC Sports Philadelphia and ESPN! We will definitely be returning to Spring Gulch campground anytime we visit Lancaster.

We just got back from camping last weekend and wow was it a blast! I have to call out Lisa at the front desk for being so nice and accommodating with the sites. Myself and two other families all stayed here and we wanted to be together, and Lisa made it happen! The Halloween activities were so much fun especially for young kids. Arts and crafts, corn maze fun, hayride was legit and went all throughout the campground, and trick or treating was a blast. Clean facilities

Even though we booked our end of September site in March we were extremely limited in availability.||Our $80+ site was called premium because it had full hookups and cable, but the 400 loop was not worth $80/night. True it was grassy but our sites had NO shade until after 5 PM. There was gravel for the coach but you could NOT put the picnic table near the awning because the rest of the site was slanted. We had maintenance fill in gopher size holes left by a previous tenant’s dog. That should have been done BEFORE we arrived. Water pressure was low but they said that was normal as we were at the end of the line. We asked to get a site in the upper loops but were told they were ALL booked. When we investigated there were plenty of empty spots. But evidently they have a policy that you can pay ahead for weekends and they block out the week too. We would have liked an upper site from Sunday until Friday. I put postcards in their out mail on Tuesday and when I put a letter in the basket Thursday my cards had not been posted. The camp store had LOTS of sweatshirts and hats but little in the way of grocery supplies except s’mores. We had visited 5 times before and were disappointed how times had changed with 1000 Trails in charge.

What a great campground for the family! Clean bathrooms, friendly people, great layout! My son didn't want to leave the big pool! We had a blast. Very family-oriented place that has all the amenities you'd want from a campground. The lot spacing is good and the price is in line! We'll definitely be coming back!

So I really enjoy camping and Spring Gulch! BUT, while registering, I once again had to deal with that large angry white haired person! She has the worse personality and is truly not a good representative of such a fine campground. She complained I was a day early (I registered when I was here in the spring and know what days I registered for). She acted as if I did something wrong when it truly was a simple correctable error on their part. When asked if the site was empty, she said it was! So where’s the problem and why the attitude? There are typically 2 women at the registration. My recommendation….. go to the nice lady a avoid her! Nothing worse than dealing with drama while on the first day of your vacation! Thanks😖

Looks like a junkyard. Minimal activities for kids. Activity staff is not friendly. Adults take over kids activities because gosh forbid they don’t win a kids game. Definitely not how it used to be. DJ blasting music outside until 9:00. No costume contests barely any campers giving out candy for trick or treating. Golf carts speed around the sites. Nearly got run over 10 times. I grew up coming here for Halloween, after this year we will not return. We are a group of 5 campers that come together. You have lost all our business

We've stayed at Spring Gulch many times over the last 10 years and enjoyed every stay. This was our first time booking through Encore/thousand trails and our site was absolutely horrible. We did not get to pick our site like we usually do because we booked through thousand trails. The site was so off level that we used every leveling block we had and we still were not level. Our camper neighbors mentioned the had our site before us and requested to move. We have a smaller 30ft travel trailer and about 2 feet of it stuck out in the road. Honestly the site we were given was unacceptable. Multiple people that came around and mentioned how bad that site is. This is one of the reasons I am canceling my Encore/Thousand Trails membership. We would have never picked that site. Every stay we've had at Spring Gulch was enjoyable except for this one.
