Sprecks Plantation House - Hotel in Paia - 448 Alakapa Pl, USA

Awesome experience. Next to Paia, beautiful location, the host replies pretty much quickly. Fast internet, my favorite part - mango tree behind the fence. Every morning picked up the new mangoes 😄|Highly recommend to anyone. 10 out of 5 my rate. )))

Sprecks is in a super convenient location. Close to the airport, close to the beach, and just a short bike ride away from Paia. The rooms have all of the necessities and were very clean. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of some food trucks and access to a trail if you want to get some running in during your stay. My favorite part was probably the access to the cruiser bikes. It made biking to Paia very accessible and a fun little adventure Paia has lots of cute shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying at Sprecks. Very affordable too for the price you would expect in Maui.

We stayed at Spreck’s based on a friends suggestion. Due to last minute planning- it wasn’t available for the our entire stay in Maui, so we had to move around to a couple of other places throughout our trip. Spreck’s was most definitely our favorite, and we would not hesitate to come back. The location on the North Shore was perfect. Just minutes away from great kiting/surfing beaches, a beautiful swimming beach within walking/biking distance, and a great running/biking trail right outside your door. We loved the vibe of the town Paia- just minutes away with great restaurants, shopping, and a wonderful health food co-op. The Mango rental was very clean and modern looking, with plenty of space for two of us. The kitchen, BBQ facilities, and lanai (porch) were all perfect- and the use of bikes/snorkel gear, boogie boards, laundry room, etc were all awesome. It is a cute and quiet little neighborhood that is easy to make your home!

We loved Mango suite:-) Spent 14 days here as a second part of honeymoon. Since we are very active, Maui is a perfect place to be. Mango suite suited us perfect since we made many meals at home (great kitchen) and went windsurfing in Kahana (short drive) Good WIFI and bikes to loan - both free of charge. Short bicycle ride to Paia with restaurants. Good parkingspace. Nice lania with shower and BBQ. Will return:-)

If you want the usual stay in the usual box hotels...I found something unique , took awhile but up the Sprecks Plantation House. I liked having nice bike to ride, laundry, baskets full of toys(for kids) , snorkeling masks, all at no added costs.|| quiet neighborhood, good location a place you can get away from the hype.|| Easy bike ride or car ride(5 min.) within the hood to the beach.. one called Baby Beach. Saw several turtles, guess they like the baby beach as well. there is a divider between ocean.. and more like a larger wading area and swimmer friendly. || It can be very breezy in this area..so have a hat that stays on.||I enjoyed the Mango! After the first night I got a comfortable cool room..using air conditioning and ceiling fan(low).||The kitchen stocked very nicely.. everything worked fine and frig quiet. Towels provided and hair dryer.||Bring your own soaps/shampoo. ||You take care of the place yourself..I liked no one was coming into my unit ..like a hotel set up..again if you like room service this is not for you.||Not a hotel but more like a rental unit.||Mango was on far end of building so people parking didn't bother us like other end room..only 4 rentals.

For two month, I rented the Bamboo Studio at the Sprecks Plantation House. Before my trip, I received all the important informations. The communication with Andrea was always pleasant and trusting. ||||On my arrival I was warmly welcomed by Lorraine. The Bamboo Studio was very clean, well equipped and surrounded by a nice garden area. ||||I enjoyed always being surrounded by the Gold Dust Day Geckos and some Green Anole Lizards. I should not forget to mention the outdoor shower - having a shower outside was genial.||||All in All, this place exceeded all my expectations.

We had an amazing stay at Spreck's. It's a quiet little get away close to downtown Paia and the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook and clean up after ourselves. There's a spacious outdoor area to rest and relax after a long day in the sun. In lieu of renting a car, we rented bikes and rode downtown/to the beach to save ourselves time and explore. If you like to ride, there are plenty of bike routes near the property and adjacent to busy roads. There are a couple beach cruiser bikes on property if there are not others using them. Other amenities include an outdoor shower, laundry AND separated recycling. We will 100% stay here again and can't wait to get back.

Spent about two weeks in the Hibiscus suite last summer with my girlfriend. We've been to Maui a couple of times before, but were tired of the hotels and the hostels. The Sprecks Plantation House was recommended to me by my cousin and we decided to try it out - which turned out to be a great idea.||||The Sprecks Plantation House is located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to the beach and to Paia. The Hibiscus suite had everything we could need. The private BBQ area was really nice, being able to something on the grill after a hard day at the beach. The house was clean and well looked after. ||||Would love to go back!
