Very comfortable and clean with friendly staff. The one drawback was the pool could have been cleaner. That didn't stop me though! The outside was manicured and clean as well. Bed and pillows as well as towels were fluffy and comfy. If you're looking for a great place at a reasonable price, it's Sportsmans Lodge.
Rooms were clean, good air conditioning also small kitchen wit my room for tha week.... 24/7 pool, basketball hoop, swing set, horse shoes & a spot with table and grills... Everyone Super nice n friendly Definitely recommend 💯
Super clean and friendly. We had a great stay!!
I didnt stay at the hotel. This review pertains to The TACKLE BOX bait shop only.
The owner of the Shop is a super nice fellow who loves to talk fish, and baits and clearly knows what he is talking about on both topics because his shop has every bait and lure I've ever heard of and dozens more I haven't. He's got live bait, plastics, cranks, and spinners. I couldn't recommend any place more highly. His selection rivals any Bass Pr_ Sh_p I've ever been to. If youre looking for that impossible to find bait that will make or break your trip, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
This place is the first place you come to on the right, which is at the West end of the Greers Ferry Bridge. Though I've never used it, there is a nice pool area and recreation area for the kids and plenty of parking space. This hotel is pet friendly with specially designated pet rooms, and plenty of room to walk your dog outside. The building is constructed of concrete blocks and feels safe and quiet. The only drawback would be the "connecting door" things that are still there to connect rooms together, but it mostly just allows you to annoy each other in the next room with having the tv too loud or not being able to talk loud. A baby cried next door to us and it was very easy to hear. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. The bathroom is all tile and though it is dated, has a nostalgic look to it I like. The paint scheme for the rooms are perfect hunting and fishing scenes and is nice for the name of the hotel. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. If you have any kind of problem with your room they are very helpful with it. Have stayed here about 4 times and have enjoyed it each time. Just a really good place to get away for a hunting/fishing trip especially.
Don't let the outside fool you this place is pretty cool. Our room was adorable, very nicely done with a lake theme. Beds are small but cozy and the pool was open late enough for my son and husband to get a quick swim in before bed. Only drawback is the coffee in the room is not awesome
The owner is an absolute sweetheart! My husband is actually a regular at this place, because he works out of town. And he would never think of staying anywhere else. My son and I went and stayed a few nights with him, just this week and I had the most wonderful time. It was so peaceful and clean. The place is very well taken care of. And it has such a home-like feel to it. The pool is so clean and was perfect for my 2 yr old to play in and just as perfect for myself. I WILL definitely be staying there again!
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Plus you can’t beat the price this close to such a wonderful lake. The owner Doug is what all owners should be, friendly and customer oriented. 5 stars!
This is a great park. Many nice features. Swimming, bath houses/bathrooms (did not visit), boat launches etc. Did not see a playground. Some of the sites are not flat. We moved from D section to C section for that reason. The new spot is pave
They were very helpful and nice. Sweet young people that helped get us started and on our return. Quiet part of the lake. The only negative thing I can say is the boat didnât have an anchor and they donât provide one. Other marinas do and not hav
