Spoonbar - Californian restaurant in Healdsburg - 219 Healdsburg Ave, USA

Came to Spoonbar on a Sunday evening without reservations. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary a day early and decided to have dinner at the last minute. We were seated quickly and our server timely. Atmosphere and lighting set the tone. Wine selection was decent, but missing local options. My husband got the Sunday seafood special and it was delicious. Our server didn't ever introduce himself and didn't seem very interested in us at all, which was disappointing. We have enjoyed many restaurants in town, so the hospitality bar is high. Overall this was a good experience, and would have been great with a few tiny tweaks.

Great happy hour specials from 5-6p. Discounted snacks, beer, wine and cocktails. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner and were impressed! Great service, vibe and food. We did the Weds night special- beet salad, fried chicken and biscuit. It was unique and so delicious! We hope to come back and try more items on the menu.

Amazing food and service. Flexibility for making the gnocchi vegetarian was greatly appreciated. The cocktails and mocktails were awesome too. Just a good all around experience!

Outstanding experience. The food was delicious. We had the cheese puffs, the butternut squash soup, the whipped potatoes, the roasted half chicken, and the beef tenderloin. It was all amazing. The service was super friendly and everything was served in a timely fashion. Loved the decor and ambiance. Great place to go for my birthday and our wedding anniversary.

Upscale pub fare and amazing drinks at the bar. Delicious dinner menu items with lots of options. Can't go wrong with stopping in here.

We had been here a few months prior and had a wonderful dinner. So when we had another special occasion we dinned here again. Our group of 6 were sat in the back where it was quiet which was nice. Our waiter was great throughout however the busser must have had a bad night… she would bump an end chair every time she would walk past (and not apologize nor stop doing it) she collected empty dishes very clunky-like and loud… she dropped a piece of lettuce into a cocktail (which was not even half drunk)… she made the evening not as enjoyable as we had hoped for. She needs much more training. Onto a food item - three of us all got the hanger steak - mine was extremely tiny compared to the other two plates and it was just bland tasting - it was a very odd entree and not worth the price. Everything else was good and of course since we are local we will give it another try and hope for a better experience.

Went to dinner here for the last night of a bachelorette party weekend, on a Sunday. Highly highly recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance, even for a Sunday it was a bit busy. We sat out on their back patio, dogs were allowed, and also brought our own bottles of wine (2 bottles) for a $15-20 corking fee (I can’t quite remember). The staff were very professional and personable! Since it was Sunday, the restaurant has a “Seafood Sunday” special, which is what I ordered. It had the option of oysters or a vegetable salad as an appetizer, Salmon Wellington as the main, and a choice of dessert from their dessert menu. Great spread for the price! I ended up going with the veggie salad for my appetizer and the lemon cheesecake for dessert. Overall a great experience and delicious food. Another fun note, they have a mixed gender restroom. Both male and female stalls, which doors from floor to ceiling, and then shared sink. I’d never seen a restroom like that before and thought it was pretty cool!
