A nice indoor carousel with wooden hand carved and painted houses. I wish that their music was more integrated into the ride itself because it would make the experience even better. It's a treasure for the Butte community.
Sad to not be able to take kid on rebuild carousel from historic Columbia Gardens. I did get to see some of the reconstruction years ago in the old mall. I added a few pictures... the park was amazing earning 5 stars. Try Wed thru Sun if you want ride the carousel. I also found some old photos of the original Columbia Gardens and it appears to have been an amusement park that was shut down for alternative land use. It is nice when a community gets together to bring back a slice of the past for the next generation. I would view this to be a good use of resources. By the way be sure to take your children to the playground that is across the parking lot from the carousel. The playground is what I would have dreamed of as a kid. There are so many different things to do that the adults even get involved and play, YES PLAY, with the kids. It is so nice to see. The signs I have seen scattered around town stating "Believe in Butte" are clearly part of the citizens culture and the initiative of the local government. It appears to be working...as an out of towner I can say that I believe in Butte.
Didn’t stay long. Just popped in to get a smashed penny. Pretty empty in the building on a cloudy Sunday in November.
A unique little place in Butte, moves a bit slower then Msla or Helenas. But definitely worth the trip especially with kids/grandkids
The carousel is operational despite the facility still being partially unfinished. Everything is fairly clean and the staff we encountered were sweet and attentive, one gal in particular standing out, but I didn't get her name. I was very excited by the assortment of goodies both edible and stationary. The only thing I was sad to see was the number of beautiful horses around with signs such as "do not touch" and "please do not sit on" without any sort of barriers- because there were lots of little kids around trying to climb and play with them. Including our last remaining horse from our original carousel, which likely REALLY shouldn't be touched given the state it is in.
Great new equipment. Kids had a blast
Great place. The city has done a lot of major renovation to Stodden park where this is located. Great area for lunches and hangouts. Right next to Ridge Waters with Montana's longest lazy river. Also worth the visit.
Great carousel. Fun, easy ride. Great parking. Ice cream to buy. You can have parties. Gift shop. Other food, but I did not check out the menu.

Beautiful place, just walking in did wonders for my nervous system. Enoch is a bright light and Butte is very lucky him here. Inspiring art, healing stones, peaceful plant waves. Thank you for the special visit.

Great late night meal with incredible beer selection. Our service wizard was Becca who is a coach at Montana Tech. She share how she ended up in Butte and stayed. Food good. Beer selection fantastic.
I mountain bike here at least 2-3 times per week. Fantastic smooth, flowy single track. Beautiful wildflowers in the spring and early summer into July. Awesome views of the surrounding mountains, and sunsets are spectacular!
