It's a dive bar!!!! A new menu was just rolled out with significant price increases across the board. Service did the bare minimum(took our order & brought the food). Our 2 sandwiches with tots as an included side cost $27.75 with tax. NOT worth the money.
Attended a surprise birthday party that had their own food provided, and there was no waitress supplied to the party room itself. Seemed like a good place all said. I had a beer and a Dr. Pepper...lol
Edit: The menu has been changed, many items have been removed, there are no more nightly specials, and they don't even serve tacos anymore, all the prices have been jacked up too. This used to be my favorite place to eat in Council Bluffs but I won't be back. I suggest Sugar's off East Kanesville instead.
Original review: If you're in the area and looking for a local dive with good eats, look no further. The burgers are big and juicy, my wife enjoys their chicken wraps, and the whole family gets fat on tacos when we visit for all-you-can-eat taco Tuesdays (get the fried shells). Parking is plentiful, staff is friendly, and the food was served hot and in good time. The interior is a bit run down but that's part of the dive charm. I would give 5 stars but I prefer booth seating which they don't have.
Rodeo burger was tremendous. Maddy the server was just as good. Quality eat, service just made everything better.
We were in town for a baseball tournament and stopped here for lunch in between games and had a party of around 30 ppl. They welcomed us with open arms. Without any prior notice, we walked in with our large baseball family, got seated, had drinks served and orders taken within 10 min. Our food arrived piping hot within 15 min and was absolutely delicious!! I’m sure we put a slight strain on the staff and cook, so we were just blown away by their 5 star service. Just awesome!! Highly highly recommend this lovely place!!

Unexpectedly disappointed. Waitress didn't check in with me after my food arrived till I was done eating.

We came to hear Southern Nights play from 2 to 6 and stayed the entire time. great stage setup. plenty of tables & chairs. excellent cheese burgers & beefy nachos. the drinks were ice cold & strong. GREAT TIME
Food was really good, surprisingly good. First time here. Had the chicken taco and probably the best chicken taco Iâve had. Also portions are pretty big.
BEST FOOD stop in Iowa! Hidden gem! Pulled pork, smoked brisket, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, malts, shakes, dole whips, sundays, ice cream, and low priced dinner packs with fixins. Go inside and sit down to eat. Lovely decor.
