Spider Lake Motel - Motel in Hayward - 11991 N Upper A Rd, USA

My wife and I stayed 7 nights. I have to say it was great experience. Small motel and no noise, very quiet. Owner does not stay in an office there, but is available by phone. We called her couple of times, and she was quick with service. The rooms are very unique, with fishing pix, an actual stuffed Muskie, very nice motif. Nice size bathroom area, nice shower. Coffee in room. Two king beds was nice. The only thing I would appreciate would have been better lighting. Does seem a bit dark in the room. All is all, great little quiet place to stay.

Boutique Northwoods rooms with many extra amenities and little extra touches. Stephanie is an awesome host and checked often to make sure things went well during our 2 week stay as we explored the area. The rooms with cooking capabilities are a big plus. Definitely would stay here again, and are recommending to other friends that visit the area on motorcycles each fall. Thanks again Stephanie....your the best

We stayed in this hotel on our way to the UP of Michigan got in late and left early just looking for a hotel to shorten trip with no expectations ….Three days later we are still talking about how much we enjoyed our room…The owner Sarah ( I hope that’s right horrible with names) was very accommodating..The room ( called The Chip ) was very clean and you can tell they put a lot of though into little things in your room to make your stay even more enjoyable…We will definitely be staying here again as our destination weekend down the road….

Loved staying here, really nice room, well appointed. Only things I could think to complain about were silly human error things. Would definitely stay there again if I had the chance

Came up north to visit a friend for a long weekend. I was recommended Spider Lake Motel. Pam was great to work with and getting me the perfect room. It was very clean and looks newly remodeled. Loved all the little details in the room, which made it homey. Perfect weekend. A+ on cleanliness, A+ on Communication and ease on booking.

Staying in the area for a while for some work. We got this hotel out of convenience of the job site and that was just pure luck. The rooms are great, warm, decorated nicely, and comfortable. But even better; the customer service has been the best I’ve had when on the road. Highly recommend making this your stay.

Beautiful place to stay. We were there Friday - Sunday this last weekend. Rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. As a plus we walked in to a very welcoming atmosphere with candy waiting for us!! Thank you for the great, homey space!!!!!!

Had a wonderful stay with my family over Labor Day weekend. Room was clean and the beds were super comfy. Cozy at home feeling! Great location! We’ll be back!
