Definitely try the Gobi Manchurian. The Madras curry was delicious, but be warned, it can be hot. The dosa and sambar were really good as well.
I'm not a fan of Indian food but was invited. I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed the garlic shrimp spice level 4 (which isn't spicy) the chicken Tikka was good too and the basmati rice and Naan bread were yummy.
Great place to try some delicious Indian cuisine, the wife and I have visited this hidden gem several times during their lunch hours, and they have some great lunch specials. Their dishes are so delicious with so much flavor, is a solid place to try the classics or try something new. especially if you’re not familiar with the Indian cuisine. Dishes are very affordable both lunch and dinner, their presentation is great. Clean location, staff is super friendly and very helpful. Their cucumber salad is so refreshing and their chicken dishes are amazing, Great place for this part of town with very good options, #helplocalrestaurants.
My son took us to Spice Garden to try a true Indian Cuisine and it was Superb! Everything from the drinks to the dessert was excellent! The cocktails were top notch and the perfect start to our meal. The four of us ordered various items and it was all served family style with plain and garlic Naan. They also have vegetarian opinions and are gluten-free friendly. Our visit to Spice Garden was perfectly satisfying!
Food is amazing! Have been 2x and got meal from this menu both times. It was nice to be able to sample several options. Both times meals were very flavorful and tasty. The last time I went, the server said they change this menu weekly. Highly recommend.
I recently dined at this restaurant and was pleased with the quality of the dishes. The flavors and presentation were truly excellent. Additionally, the service was fantastic, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. However, I did notice that the crew appeared to be struggling with the high capacity, which resulted in some delays in getting orders out in a timely manner. Despite this, the wait was well worth it for the delicious food and exceptional service. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining there again in the future. In the picture, delicious gulab jamon desert.
Should have known… the restaurant across the street was bustling yet we were the only customers in the Spice Garden. Hmmm. We found the meats to be very dry and not flavorful at all. The drinks were weak. Not much for atmosphere or decor. Service was good enough. The overall experience here for us was okay at best.
This restaurant did not open until 5PM. I was the first customer. The first table I sat at was dirty along with the seat. When I asked for the table to be wiped, the man who greeted me looked at the table as if he could not see anything on it. The lady who was assisting him pointed out the multiple crumbs. I then asked to sit at the table behind me. Fortunately, that table was clean. I decided to just brush the crumbs off the seat since my request for a clean table seemed to be an inconvenience to the man. It took a considerable amount of time for me to receive my food. The masala had a borderline burned taste. The chicken was unseasoned and dry. The shrimp was cooked nicely. The rice was lukewarm. It did not taste as if they had cooked it that day… unless they cooked it in the morning and left it sitting out. The garlic cheese naan was good. My suggestion for the garlic cheese naan is to finish it while it is hot. I wanted to find a highlight out of the whole experience, but the only thing I can think of is the water. It was filtered and cold with not too much ice. I am not a picky eater by far, but I do like to enjoy my meals. I do not like wasting food. So I always take the leftovers home for myself or to give to someone else. This was NOT a meal I would take with me. I took the naan so I wouldn’t feel as wasteful, but if I’m honest with myself.. it will probably go straight in the trash when I get home. Based off of service, food, and cleanliness.. I could never return here. I spent a little over $30 on their food when I could’ve spent $5 on an Indian tv dinner for better tasting food with less hassle. If you are looking to try Indian food for the first time, DO NOT go to this restaurant. Indian food is an amazing cuisine, and your experience at this restaurant would ruin your first experience.
