Tldr; awesome spot, tastiest food I've had in a while, go here! Spice and Gravy opened up about a year ago in '23 and it deserves much more attention than it has gotten! Gf and I have been looking for a chill spot for Sunday brunch and i think this it. First and foremost, the food is absolutely fantastic! We had their fish, greens and mac and their chicken and waffles. The fish and chicken were fried and seasoned absolutely perfectly. I'm not even a big greens fan, but I had to admit they were delicious. And the waffles! Oh man, so fluffy and delightful! The service is on point. Cordial and attentive. We met the owner, Reggie, and he was very pleasant to talk to! I think we've found our brunch spot! We're both definitely big fans of this small, local southern restaurant, and cannot wait to come back and try out their full menu! We hope you will stop by and try them too!

We stopped in here for an early lunch Saturday and had a great meal. The place is very nice and clean. They were very nice and helpful since it was our first time eating here. We ended with the regular chicken and waffles and the orange chicken and waffles. Both were excellent. Chicken was juicy and seasoned. The waffles were both very good as well. The standard waffle is cinnamon flavored version.

Tried this place for first time and it was absolutely delicious!!! My son got French toast along with kids meal and it was bomb!! I had the smothered chicken it was so tender and My husband had the smothered pasta that had smoked turkey, collard greens(NOT CANNED) sausage bites and more. Will definitely go back!

I decided to give this place a try and it was worth every bite. I ordered lemon pepper fried chicken and grits with a side of collard greens. Omg! Delicious! The food was fresh, tasty, and the service was friendly and wholesome. I didn’t have to wait very long, and the portions are generous. It’s worth a visit and the atmosphere and decor is lovely! I highly recommend!

First time here, we walked in about 12:05pm on a Saturday. It was a relaxing chill vibe, with quiet but present music that fit the setting. We ordered at the counter, got the appetizer which I think is crispy mac ‘n roast/brisket rolls, which were like eggrolls but with filled mac n cheese and brisket. 10/10. Delicious 😭 we ordered the fish-greens-n mac plate, and the roast and grits plate. My catfish was amazing, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and lightly crisped. The greens were well flavored, 9.5/10, and the mac n cheese was great too, 9/10. And when we finished, I didnt feel extremely bloated and heavy, which was a pleasant surprise. I just felt like I ate good. We also drank pumpkin spice sweet tea, it was a little too sweet for me so I diluted it with water, but regardless it was sooo good too. 8/10. There was a single man at working the front and he was extremely polite, it was only about 4 other people that came in, but he attended us and checked on us all. Definitely coming back to support this restaurant. Praying that prosperity flows here because they deserve it!

Total AWESOME experience!! I love to try different and spicy foods and this hidden gem didn't disappoint! This is a husband/wife team and they created something that is here to stay. I have to come back here before I fly back home.

Hubs and I discovered this jewel in n the neighborhood and love it! Love the owners; they are very hospitable and sweet. Their peach bread pudding is amazing! Need to go back for the Sunday Brunch!

I'm glad I was able to eat in this new restaurant. Mary & Reggie displayed great customer service skills and the food was great. They were so welcoming. I tried the shrimp & grits, catfish, and my friend had the chicken and waffles. I'm not a fan of the chicken & waffle combo, I have to say, after taking a taste of my friends, this place has truly changed my mind. I apologize I didn't get the picture of the chicken and waffles..The flavor was amazing 🤗My new favorite place. I can't wait to see you guys again. Keep up the great work..
