Great hike. Not too challenging but enough to give you a workout and a reward of a fabulous view from the top. Can be a little busy but I found everyone is friendly and enjoying the hike.

Spiritually enlightening views. I'd try to do this when the clouds are low. Beauty envelops you as the city melts away. (Please, for the love of dog, leash your dog)

Beautiful from the bottom all the way to the top. My first time I traveled through Eugene, I could only make it 1/2 way up. When I traveled through Eugene, OR about a month ago, I just had to stop and achieve my goal of making it all the way to the top. My pup and I did it. It took about 3 hours to make it up, but we did and it was very worth it. My pup and I both have short legs, plus Zoe likes to stop and literally smell everything and make sure that nobody or nothing is behind us. She also has to stop and say hi or bye to anyone going up or down the hike. There is a huge parking lot, handicapped accessible spots to park. There are portable toilets, the trails are clearly visible and maintained. There’s signage when you start of a few different trails and their levels of ease or hardness. The trail we took was very well maintained, various spots to move to one side or the other for traffic. A view site with a bench, a marker with how far you’ve got left to go. At the top theirs stairs and they are steep, but so worth it. Once you get to the top you can see everything and it’s beautiful. Of course I didn’t know what anything was, because I’m not from there. Definitely worth the hike. Take a lot of water, a pack, your dog, kids, spouse or friends. Y’all won’t be disappointed.

Great views of the forest and at the summit. I feel accomplished every time I make it up.

Amazing view. Great spot to see the sun disappear behind the mountains. Would go again. Nice resting spots to have a nap though it is very cold. Bring extra layers just in case!

Beautiful hike with clearly marked trails of different length. I love the new rock stairs@

Such a beautiful hike! The sunset from the summit was breathtaking. I will say, however, that this is NOT a family friendly or a beginner's hike! It is uphill the entire time with lots of steps at the top (and no handrail) I'll be back, but much more prepared!

Nice hike, beginning is the steepest, then easy trail, then some rock stairs. My 3 year old has hiked this trail with me multiple times. It's a great family hike! It's pretty busy but once at the top it is gorgeous and tons of rocks to lounge on and take in the beauty while not having to be right next to someone else.

Cute park with a massive playground and open areas. The real gem are small pathways thru the treeline down to the water for a secluded spot to hang in the shade and listen to the water

It's a great park to walk. Right next to the Willamette River, the mixture of green and bubbling clear water create a very nice environment for a walk or bike. Across the bridge is the university of Oregon, and many office buildings. Great area to re

Lovely little jaunt in South Eugene. Typically quite clean, somewhat vertical and parking can be a bit tight at the bottom of the trail so arrive early or be lucky!
