Speicher Memorial Park - Park in San Bernardino - 1535 Arden Ave, USA

Have fun at the local park! Great fields for soccer, cartwheels, basketball, and baseball adjacent. Please fix the concrete for runners. Big biting ants leave welts, please correct. Garden is beautiful ❤️

Attention: City of San Bernardino Parks & Recs Maintenance Division- Please put trash cans along the pathways and BBQ areas of Speicher aka Greenspace @ Arden. Currently only one is available ("chained up") by the restroom area and it's always over-flowing with garbage. Trash has been found in the BBQ's , on the ground, and in the gutters. Chain up more cans in the park... Please! Maybe the city could even spring for a dog dooty baggie station with it's own trash can! I'm sure now I'm asking too much but it's truly needed. Thank you. Today Monday 25 of October 2021 .The day has been normal , the only inconvenience is the weather ☁️ , since this morning it's has been cloudy day with rain sporadically but maybe it will rain most of the day . So the Speicher Mrmoryal park is as always open and available to the residents of San Bernardino - Highland , here in the state of California . I doubted that someone would like to be here for now . But anyways , the rain is welcome and the park and us needs the rain.

Found this park by accident and decided to check it out. This park has a pretty good size area layout offering several shaded areas to escape the heat and plenty of green grass throughout and a Nice playground area that I would think more suitable for children three years and up...... I found that this park offers plenty of area for different activities to be enjoyed such as soccer, kite flying, and picnicking. What this park lacks is a suitable size designated parking lot... Handicap parking is extremely limited and the Location chosen for the bathrooms in my opinion is extremely close to the main street and to the parking lot. This is not ideal when it comes to safety especially for young children. But if extra precautions are taken then this is a great park for a family to enjoy. And the last thing I would know is that there is poor lighting on the street so it gets extremely dark at night and rather very quickly so if going to this park is on someone's itinerary then I would suggest to bring a flashlight or some other light source suitable for dark, low light environments I know that I was very thankful that I had an emergency flashlight already in my car because when we were packing up we discovered we could not see very at all so the additional light helped to ensure all our belongings were retrieved before going home

It's a pretty park. But I wish they had free wifi if they do in santa Monica

Grass areas are beautiful with some good shade but playground is a disaster. Broken slides, missing swings and bits of trash everywhere.

Nice park during the day. A lot of sports teams practice here.
