Sparkles Family Fun Center - Roller skating rink in Hiram - 4054 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, USA

Had a few hours of fun with the hubs and the grandson. We visited early on a Saturday, so it wasn't crazy busy. There was a nice size crowd though. The music is good and the vibe was right. The husband and I enjoyed ourselves while the grandson hung out with his friends. I'm curious to see what the evenings are like, but we didn't have time for that. We only had a few snacks, but I'm not keen on the prices. I would say typical amusement prices, which are more than what we should pay. Definitely nothing to write home about. We did have time to play laser tag. That was fun! Overall, I say add this to your list.

Do not come here unless u intend on spending $100 or more just to bring my 4 kids it cost $85 just to skate then they want to charge $5 for the helper that rolls w/u if u don't know how to skate, oh only get it for 1 hour & non refundable. God forbid u want a drink or don't have your own skates or OMG want to play laser tag. I'm so sick of raising prices by double they will never go bck down. It's a sad day when u can't even take your children to anything fun cause it will break your wallet. Shame on these businesses for price gauging yes I said price gauging people shld stop giving away their hard earned money to all places like this!

We always have a great time. Very clean, good fun for the kids and adults. Management is great. Morgan and her crew are top notch. Barbie skate night was a blast!

It's nice and clean, a tad bit unorganized , maybe because it's ran by a lot of teens and if any questions that needed to be answered, we were pointed to the only 2 adults I saw that worked there as well. The DJ did a great job with the different genres...my niece couldn't stop dancing. Oh, the food absolutely SUCKED!!! The pretzel bites tasted old, the cheese sauce was watery with no taste, chicken tenders had more hard breading than meat, fries old & hard and the list goes on and on. The best thing to eat is the pizza, that was basically for the kids at the bday party for one of my nieces. The kids will love it, there is also an arcade, and jungle gym for the little ones that can't skate. Oh, and liquor for those bored parents.

Trans-friendly staff! A small group of transwomen were confronted by a staff member that a man had complained about their presence, and Sparkles staff instructed him to leave without incident. Very professional handling of the situation and it's great to see more people standing up for trans existence. Stay visible!

Fun! Went for a kids birthday party. Adults could skate as well. I decided to get out there (haven't skated in years) and I had the time of my life. My kids enjoyed it too. They have the roller walkers to assist the little kids which was great. The music was good. They had a few different things to do for the kids like laser tag, the arcade and the fun center. It wasn't too crowded either. I recommend.

Amazing rink!! Owners are great, music is awesome. Love the events they host!! Will be back for sure

I've never been insulted by another adult like the manager you have here. She looked me in the eyes and mocked me, repetitively, asked me if I'd like to cancel my son's birthday party, literally at his birthday party, all because I was under the wrong impression of the 2:15 time slot, when we didn't get the party room until after 3pm. I kept looking at her and asking if she was serious and to please stop, she didn't- she actually made me cry. I'm a grown 42 year old, woman with an entire life, and somehow, this young female made me cry... At my son's birthday party. The party that also cost $850. Yeah, that was an expensive mistake for her to have made for the owner(s). We've had our boys' birthday parties there for 3 years straight, we will never step foot in Sparkles again, it's just ran down now with terrible staff members, maybe owners, I'm not sure. It's sad to see the place ran so far into the ground. Do not recommend- not with your children anyway. I tried to leave this review on Facebook, but they deleted and blocked me. It's really sad to see a staple be ran down like it has been.
