Spark by Hilton Colorado Springs I 25 Central - Featured Reviews (16)
The rooms were clean and fairly quiet. But the hotel was more like a low budget one with the hall and bathrooms marginal. The paint in the bathroom was not the best job with them painting the hinges and not very nicely. It was like a quality inn. Breakfast wasn't the quality we expected. The people and staff were very nice and accommodating. Not sure why Hilton would taint their high brand with a lower budget option.
My family and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It’s incredibly family-friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect choice for anyone traveling and wanting a great place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally nice and always greeted us with a warm smile. The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. Everything was cleaned well and thoroughly.
We encountered a few minor issues during our stay, but they were addressed immediately and unobtrusively. The AC in our room was broken and, with no fuss, they quickly offered us another room. The towel rack was also broken when we entered the room and we were ensured we wouldn't be charged for it and it was fixed as soon as possible. The team was very flexible and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, whether it was providing towels or helping with the washer/dryer.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its dedication to making sure guests are happy and satisfied. They truly made us feel like valued guests, and their attention to fixing things that weren't to our needs was well done. The comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and amazing service made our stay memorable.
The breakfast was basic: bagels, yogurt, orange juice, and snack bars.
I highly recommend this hotel for a stress-free experience. It's clear they have priorities in ensuring every guest has a positive and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be returning if we are in Colorado Springs again!
Booked this hotel since we stay almost exclusively at Hilton properties (over 30 nights per year). This is not a new hotel but an old Wingate by Wyndham that has been converted (very poorly) to a Spark by Hilton. The hallways look like a college dorm that has been repainted too many times and is a depressing gloss blue and green. The most recent coat of paint looks like it was applied by elementary students that couldn't stay within the lines. Even the hinges in our bathroom had paint all over them. The halls were dirty and very dark and depressing. Our room was not great, and we had to clean a HUGE clump of long black hair off the shower wall. They also do not have "Do not Disturb" signs available and just hand you a white piece of paper and tape for your door when you ask for one. Breakfast was only bagels, granola bars and juice. Overall, this was a very sketchy place. While the staff was nice, we do not recommend this hotel. Stay somewhere else in Colorado Springs. I hope Hilton removes their name from this property ASAP.
The view of the mountains from the main entrance of the hotel is wonderful. That the bagels (yes, the bagels were very good) and the price is the only plus I found from this property. The lighting kinda reminded me of a thriller movie not too bright, not too dim. The colors are so off and odd. You can tell it was a refurbished hotel and when I say you could tell. Anyone would be able to. It's like they didn't even tape off anything before painting. They didn't even take the time to remove the safety lights while texturing the walls. They just simply textured over the lights, including the lenses (if you zoom in my photo, you can see one of the textured safety lights). Safety hazard???? The place wasn't dirty, it's just sloppy. Everything seemed to be done halfway or with minimal effort. The staff were nice and attentive. I would never stay here again unless I see someone post some updates with changes made.
Not a "New" hotel. Good location. The rooms clean but are small and the price is a little high for the accommodations. Decent place to lay your head down for a 1 to 2 night stay.
The renovations done to this building look horrible. It feels more like a very old Motel 6. I don't see how Hilton allowed its name to be associated with this place.
Can not give it a service rating due to the fact I was not able to find a staff member and had to just check in and access the rooms via the app.
PLEASE READ, I'm giving them what seems like good reviews based what they say they offer. Rooms were clean but no microwave. I haven't stayed in a place with no microwave in 20 years. Breakfast consists of bagels, pastries, toast etc. They offer NO hot items. So they delivered in what they promised. At fault is the person in our company who booked this place for us. I personally would NEVER book any of the Sparks hotels.
I’ve never stayed at this brand of hotel, but I am a diamond member and frequently stay at all Hilton Brand hotels. I will say this was a cheap hotel rate so I guess for the value it is OK. However, I was very disappointed with this stay. The room was clean and fine. However, the walls are paper thin and we were up all hours with our neighbors making noise. We heard everything. The hallways are newly painted with new carpet, but it looks like you’re in some horror movie and like this is a weird hotel that’s just been painted over.. the breakfast was very basic with just bagels and some peaches in a plastic cups. I will say the front desk staff was very nice. Check in was easy, but didn’t feel like a Hilton, which is why I’m giving it this review..
I was highly disappointed in this place as a member of the Hilton Family. I had never stayed at a Spark before but thought I'd tey it out. When I say very basic....I mean very. The rooms have furniture but it's all super cheap. No dressers. The nightstands look like 3 boards screwed together. Yhe carpets where fifty disgusting and smelled like mildew. It looked like a 5 year old painted the walls. The overall appeal was not appeasing. The pool was green...mind you it's August and guest like to cool off. The "continental breakfast" was subpar. I will never stay at another one of these and was highly disappointed Hilton put their name behind this.
