I enjoyed my stay at the campground. It was quiet and peaceful in the lot I stayed in, which was Lot 10, in the back section of the park. The showers were hot and cleaned on a regular basis. The store had the basics items you might need. They will receive packages for you at the store, they just won’t sign for them.|I extended my stay by 1 month. Nicole was kind enough to move things around to make sure I didn’t have to move to another lot. I really appreciated her efforts!|They have a laundry house that was always available and clean. And the store has rolls of quarters available upon request, which was really convenient.|Would highly recommend Savannah Oaks to others!

We booked a site online for a week stay. It was one of the few that would accommodate our 45' toy hauler. The site was at the far end alongside the roadway. Actually, it was on the other side of the fence from the roadway. All day and throughout the night you hear these trucks just flying down the road. It was awful! The site itself was tight and the only way to get into it was to enter into the site in front, position between two trees and back in. Way to tight! We were able to get into the site but on the day we were leaving, the neighbor parked his truck sideways in the front blocking our ability to turn left. We were basically blocked in as the site we were able to jostle around in originally when we arrived was occupied. We got lucky and caught the neighbor to the front as he was leaving for the day and he kindly moved his truck to another site. This allowed us to pull straight out and to the exit. What a mess! The overall park looks to be getting a major upgrade. It needs it! Fresh asphalt is laid on the entrance. Now all they need to do is rearrange the layout to accommodate more larger rigs, put some gravel down, and maybe build a wall to block some of that road noise! I give it a few stars due to the location to Savannah. It is about a twenty minute drive. Besides that, I can't think or any other reason to stay here? Next time, I am paying the extra money to stay down the road at Creekfire! At least there I am not parked next to a raceway and I can easily get into and out of my site!

Location is good, campground itself not so much. Very tight sites, mostly dirt/some gravel, no playground at the moment (new one coming soon per office). Overall the park needs lots of love, which I’m sure under the new ownership it will get eventually. Not allowed to flush black tanks at the site, so we waited until we got to dump station on the way out. The hose to “flush” the black tanks at the dump station was cemented on, and the end was cut off so there was no way to attach it to the black tank flush on the camper. Very frustrating as we were putting camper in storage at our next location and really needed to clean the tanks. Prices were good compared others in the area, but would we stay here again? Honestly, I don’t believe so.

It’s a decent campground. Not spectacular. Folks towards the back are probably happier. We were up front and the road noise was unbearable. Staff was very nice, roads inside were newly paved. Facilities maybe some are a little tired. Hooked up the water, and the pvc pipe broke off causing a geyser. Campers helper, and another employee were quick to fix it. Some sites, like ones near us were really tight. A little infrastructure work going on, but should have been done a while ago. Probably won’t stay here again. Can’t talk over the road noise. It’s constant until late in the evening.

We are full timers and before we were staying on Rincon and this one has been THE best so far. We understand there’s new owners and that the community will have renovations done. Shower rooms are good, I can easily go with my family and get ready for work and school all together quick. Not like others toilet, shower and sink is on the same room giving me peace as mom that while I shower they can brush their teeth and use the restroom right there by me. It’s a nice quiet place, after work I can’t wait to go home. Ladies at the store are helpful, friendly and they care for the guests. I can’t wait to witness all the renovations. Close by there’s gas stations, stores, fast food and more. One exit south there’s a supermarket (Kroger), Starbucks and more. They are awesome communicating with guests if the gate code will be change, or if the water will be shutdown for repairs, … They also have a propane refill station.

We have a big Motor home. We pulled into a site that was muddy. No way to keep the coach clean. Walk down to the water which on your brochure. Looks like a very nice clean water it's a Swamp. Not exactly what we were expecting or the way it was portrayed. We left after being there for a couple hours moved down the street. They refused to refund any of our money for 6nights. Not good business for miss representing thr campground

The campground overall is very tired. I understand that it is under new ownership and there are plans to improve. Currently the facilities are mediocre. It rained while we were there and it was so muddy and parts of the road were under water for much of the day. The sites and road through the campground need improved whether by adding rock or ideally, by paving. The bathrooms were always clean but need an upgrade desperately. It appears that they tried to apply lipstick to a pig per se, as the toilet, sink, and tile looked newer but there were no fans, the doors need replaced and the cheap shower chairs could be replaced with actual benches for better functionality and improved safety. The camp store was bare and lacked basic supplies even though it was spacious enough to offer a nice selection. There was junk all over the grounds including broken air conditioners and old abandoned electrical hookups. The dog park has a large gap in the fence that makes it easy for even a large dog to escape. I definitely cannot recommend this place nor would I stay there again.

This is an absolutely beautiful Campground. We stay here at least two times a year on our travels South during the winter. They have a very well-stocked store, the staff is very friendly and they even bring you to your site. That's a dock in the back of a campground that you can look at nature and the birds that gently move back and forth from spot to spot. Extremely friendly fellow campers. And every time we've stayed here the campground has been very very quiet which makes for a pleasant stay. They even give you a good Sam's discount if you belong to that camping club. Top-notch well-maintained and you can even have sla propane filling station.

Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
