Space Tea - Bubble tea store in Salt Lake City - 1085 S State St, USA

After a quick Costco run this weekend, I stopped by this local boba shop. I’m pretty new to boba. I’ve only had it a couple of times. Space Tea wasn’t too hard to find. I did have a hard time parking because it is on State Street downtown Salt Lake City. I ended up parking on a side street & walking over. The menu was a little confusing to me, probably because I’m so new at this. Staff explained that the milk teas had caffeine in it & the milk blasts did not. I tried the milk tea, brown sugar flavored with boba. I was debating on that one or the coconut one. Both sounded really good. The brown sugar milk tea was really sweet & tasted just like brown sugar! Probably a little too sweet for my preference but it was really good! I learned after that they are able to adjust sweetness levels which is good to know! I loved that this place is decorated for Halloween. Seemed like a cool place for the younger crowd to hangout with several tables & a Photo Booth. The menu is really big & you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll like!

Great place for a quick treat. They’ve got soft serve, smoothies, and boba. There’s some board games provided if you want to chill and play some games. It does stink a little bit but over time you get used to it. I always get the mango smoothie and it’s yummy.

My favorite boba spot!!! I love the cute (Oliver the otter 🦦 is 💯) and comfortable atmosphere where you can hang out, play games, study, and chill! The drinks are original and DELICIOUS! The workers are super kind! Even when it’s busy, they are so fast and getting your order out! I’m not from SLC, but I’ll make the trip just to get boba from Space Tea! Love love love!! 😍🧋

Loved the bubble tea and the decor and seating was good but unfortunately, I won’t come back to dine in because it was freezing cold. It is the winter and there was air conditioning blowing everywhere with portable fans. My friend and I had to wear our coats the whole time and we’re still cold. My friend asked the employee to turn up/on the heat and they said they weren’t allowed! I’m bummed that I won’t be able to study or meet friends here because it seems like a great place otherwise!

Surprisingly big space inside. Several cushy chairs as well as tables to sit at. Free wifi. Most people here were in their 20's. Staff was very helpful and explained everything. I tried the otter space drink, and tayaki desert, which h was a soft serve with oreo crumble and a fresh made waffle shaped like a fish. Drinks are adjustable to desired sweetness, and flavors.

Absolutely LOVE. This place had such great customer service and the staff was really nice and also helped me in deciding what to get as I have never been to space tea before. I can’t remember the one I got but It had Carmel in it and was really yummy and sweet. The only thing I would have changed is not adding in the tea. That’s just personal preference though! I love texture so boba is one of my favorite things to add in a fitting drink. The atmosphere was super fun and had good energy and vibes! 10/10 recommend. My husband was so sweet to take me here on my birthday to celebrate and I’m so happy I chose space tea to celebrate part of my day!

Super cool atmosphere! I could totally see myself bringing some friends and hanging out or taking my laptop for a writing sesh. Boba pearls are great! The match tastes like high quality, though it could stand to be sweetened. Luckily I don't mind rae matcha! Will definitely visit again!
