Southwind Inn - Motel in Liberal - 619 E Pancake Blvd, USA

I was pleasantly surprised!! Room was extremely clean! Honestly a lot cleaner than many chain hotels I've stayed in! Bed was comfy and there was a nice sized hotel fridge! Easy check in and staff was very nice!! Great price!! I would definitely stay here again!!

Upon entering the reception area, we were met by the owner, one of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. He was so helpful and courteous, and bent over backwards to assure we’d be comfortable. Our room was super clean, and the price was a third of what a large franchise hotel would cost. I highly recommend this cute and clean motel. We will stay here again when coming through. Two Impressed Minnesota Customers

First, the owners were very nice. But the room was terrible. I found carpet beetles on the bed. The outside door didn’t have a functioning lock. We propped a door under the handle. We checked in around 10:30 PM after driving for 9 hours. Otherwise we would have left. It is run down and in need of a LOT of maintenance. I would not recommend it.

I am on the road over 200 nights a year and this is the CLEANEST room I have stayed in. Owner is very friendly. Beds very comfortable. Wish all motels and hotels were this good. This is THE place to stay in Liberal and western Kansas. FANTASTIC

Positive: The room was clean. Negative: My reservation was for 4 adult but she said it was for 2 so charged me extra.the AC did not work.

Our family is traveling for an unexpected funeral. We were treated with kindness and respect. The room was clean and comfortable. The room rate was very good. If we need to stay in Liberal, Kansas again, this will be our first choice.

My name is Jimmy i stayed at the Southwind Inn in Liberal Kansas. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had traveling for work. It was like a home away from home. The manager was very professional and kind. They made sure to accommodate my ever need. Definitely recommend this place over any in this area.

Though the motel is dated and bathrooms really small, the rooms have new flatscreen TVs and I will say that the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in on our entire two-week trip. Room clean, proprietor was friendly, price was right. Overall, would stay here again for the comfort of the bed!
