Please don’t go. Manager is incredibly rude, there were ants and some other bug in the bathroom, the sheet had some weird stain and the manager tried saying it was my coffee, which was in a cup with a lid and straw and the stain was fully dry even though I was there for maybe 2 hours. The door was dirty, hair wrapped IN a towel I didn’t use, and the freezer was dirty. I stayed ONE night because I already paid and I went the next morning to check out early. I was originally staying for 3 nights but I couldn’t do it again. When I asked for a refund, the manager was incredibly rude and refused to refund me ANY money. Please DO NOT STAY HERE. Edit: The owner/manager whatever responded and this is the only way I can respond to that. I did have a cup of coffee next to the bed. But it was in a cup that had a straw and lid. He says I was in the room all day, but I checked in around 7:30pm and called for new sheets around 9:30pm. That’s 2 hrs, not all day. The next day when I asked for a refund because I won’t be staying, he said “I don’t do refunds.” I was asking for the nights I won’t be there and he said no. He wanted to look at the room, I said “You can, but I also have pictures if you’d like to see them.” And he just simply said the room was fine. Harassment? What a joke! He was rude to my husband and hung up on him because he asked for a refund for the TWO nights that I WAS NOT STAYING THERE. My husband called ONCE, and was hung up on! Yes, I will leave bad reviews because it was an AWFUL experience. The worst I’ve ever had. I love when GOOD small businesses flourish, but this place shouldn’t be opened to the public if the state of the room I slept in is the norm. I am definitely not bullying and if you think that’s what this is, you have a weird way of seeing the world. When I asked for a refund for the nights I won’t be there, you took a sip of your coffee mug, looked me dead in the eyes and said “No. I don’t do refunds.” I had to book a room at Motel 6 at the last minute and they were kind and I didn’t have a single problem with them. I love giving a small business my money whenever I can, but you proved I shouldn’t make that mistake again.

We woke up with ants covering the bathroom, enough to the point where I stepped on them before I noticed. When this was brought to the managers attention he offered no apology or solution. When asked about a discount, he literally laughed before saying “For ants? No.” As I continued to try to talk to him he was incredibly rude and condescending.

Recently stayed here with my family and it was a great place to stay. Was very affordable, the bathroom was recently remodeled and everything worked as it should. There is no air conditioning so don't forget to bring a fan.

A little old school from my liking. Shower was different. Lights in different places in the room where inadequate. Room was cramped because of the second bed. But it seemed to be clean.

We had a pleasant stay here. The young man at the desk was friendly and welcoming. Room was nice. We did notice a few things off, but let the young man know about what we noticed, I have no doubt they will be addressed and fixed. A couple recommendations would be to print new TV channel listing sheets and laminate them, maybe create a binder to put it in, with some local eateries and interesting sites around town? I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Mice in our room! Front desk area had strong undesirable odors. Wow, where should I start... first, the manager was nice and there were no problems there, 10/10 for personal conduct. I did notice a very strong unpleasant smell in the lobby area where I checked in. This was not what I was hoping for. After we got the key and entered our room, I noticed that the rooms are extremely worn. They do have slightly newer tile flooring though. Our bathroom sink was coming off the wall a bit. The comforter on the bed had a strange white stain that looked like cascade dishwasher detergent. I moved the night stand next to the bed and found a large amount of mice droppings under it. I opened the closet door and found more mice droppings. After cleaning up after the mice, I tried to eat my dinner and a mouse ran across the floor from the window area to the bed area. That was all I could take. I immediately left and went to another motel. This motel has served its time and is long overdue for complete renovation or demolition.

The guy working was really cool. He showed us the room before we paid and it looked nicer than I expected. Hard floor (no nasty carpet), looked brand new. The shower was nice, looked like a new fridge, microwave, nice big flat screen tv but limited channels. It wasn't very spacious though, (room 11) the usb port on both lamps didn't work but the router has one, and there's no A/C. But it was 56 degrees outside and there was a standing fan. The metal chairs weren't comfy. The bed wasn't great, spring mattress? I thought the price was high for what you get and since it's still a 20-30min drive from the coast, oh well though. The walls weren't very sound proof too. If you have more than one vehicle be sure to let the clerk know so he doesn't get it towed.

Was pleasantly surprised at the disparity between the price and the quality of the accommodations. It's nothing flashy but it's clean, tidy, and everything works. The gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name is Derek) was helpful and friendly despite the late hour we arrived. If you're traveling the coast and looking for an economical spot to stay the night, this one delivers.
