Southland Lanes - Bowling alley in Lexington - 205 Southland Dr, USA

Got on the waiting list which was fine,grabbed some food and drinks. Once we got to our lane the pins wouldn’t come down,balls got stuck in the conveyor. Repeatedly told them about it. They added time but the fix took over 15 mins. Then we had to move to another lane. After that the worker told us to reset on the side button. There was no button WE had to tell them to reset it. Then that lane got stuck. After that I asked for my money back. Then they proceed to say they couldn’t find a transaction when I just paid with the same card. Very unfortunate really just wanted to have a good night.

I recently hosted a corporate holiday party here and had an amazing experience! As a golfer, the cold has limited my playing time, but southland lanes new golf simulator has made it super easy to golf. Me and my friends rented out the golf simulator and it was a great time! It was a private room & all the equipment was super nice & new! Everything was priced reasonable (the drinks especially). I would definitely recommend coming here if you need a new experience in lex or wanna go out to a place w friends!

Reserved 2 hour bowling lane for 8pm...showed up a little early with the intention of going to the bar which website states is open and get here and no bar...its torn apart for renovations....so inquire about getting lane early and worker tells us bar is still open, it's jut in another location....walk over there and it's literally just a counter selling mainly beer....couldn't even fix a jack and coke and had to wait in line 20 min for a bucket of beer. Paid $100 for lane and was very disappointed now waiting over an hour. Website very misleading and if you look up bars name still says they are open. Definitely won't return here...could have gone other places with more to do.

Had a nice time coming here to bowl with friends. They charge either by the hour or by the game. They were actually out of my shoe size when I came, but maybe I just came on the same day when a lot of other people with my shoe size decided to too. Haha. Good deals on beer buckets. Would definitely return.

Great place for a party 🥳. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The manager goes out of his way to make sure you have a great time. The is really good too.

The entire bowling alley is dated and sticky, I didn’t want to sit down on any of the pull out chairs everything was so dirty. We searched for probably 20 minutes for bowling balls and couldn’t find any for an 8 or 9 lb that fit our fingers and I have a 5.5 size ring finger. Most balls had tiny finger holes and were greatly chipped. We paid $150 for two lanes for 2 hours on a Tuesday night and one of our lanes was broken down for at least 1/4 of that time. The ball kept getting stuck and we only had one size 7 to use between two people. The whole experience was just poor. I’d recommend going to Main Event instead.

Whether it be in the evening with family or a late night with friends, southland lanes is a great place to have some fun. I've been going there for years. It's a little old fashioned and rough but still a cheap easy place to bowl, play pool and have a couple drinks.

Went on Sunday around 3pm, there wasn't a wait we got straight in. To rent a lane for 2 hours it cost around 50$. They have something for kids to roll the ball down to help them bowl straight if they need it at no additional cost. The one thing I would suggest is the fact that if a child needs to use the bumper pads while bowling that it's available just for that certain person, they said if one uses it all has to use it. The women's restroom was very clean and smelled good.
