My family and I stayed here for a long weekend in the Cape and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Our room was spotless when we arrived, You could tell they went above and beyond to clean it for our stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. All the amenities were great as well! My daughter loved the playground and indoor pool, my wife and I enjoyed the firepit which they tended to, and being able to relax and unwind in the hot tub at the end of the day was my personal favorite. I also cannot say enough about the staff. Every interaction I had with them was friendly and personable. They truly made me and my family feel like guests, not customers. I could not believe the experience we had for the price. It was very affordable to stay in an otherwise expensive area. The location is a big plus as well. We were close to a lot of great restaurants and being right on Rt. 6 makes it easy to get anywhere in the Cape. I would recommend that anybody bring their family to experience the cozy Southfleet Motor Inn to get the same great experience that we had.
My wife and I stayed here (Sat-Mon) in early October 2023. The place was extremely clean and the couple that manages the place where very nice. |The room was bigger than expected and everything was just right.|There are two restaurants plus a bagel place in the same parking lot. We grabbed a couple of bagels one morning for bfast, no complaints. |This place is also very close to Marcconni beach. The location was perfect for us as we were looking for a weekend up towards the outer cape.|
The Southfleet is the quintessential Cape Cod hotel. I started coming here about 10 years ago, because it reminds me of my incredible Cape Cod summers of the 70s and 80s. Location is perfect -- across the street from the bike trail and Marconi Beach. The rooms are large and kept clean by the hard-working staff. The property has everything you could want -- playground, picnic area, laundry room, indoor pool with hot tub, outdoor pool, and even a few steps from several food choices (fine-dining, bagels, quick-bites w/bar). I saved the best for last...the STAFF! This family-run business is a success because they understand true Cape Cod hospitality. Every single person was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Love The Southfleet!! Thanks for another memorable trip!
My wife and I spent 5 days at the Southfleet in late September. That marked our 40 th year there.........yes I did say FORTY years. We love the Wellfleet area of the Cape and would not stay anywhere else. Perfectly located across from our favorite part of the National Seashore........Marconi Beach. Sandwiched between two fine eateries...Van Rensselaer's and The Lobster and Chowder House. Great place in a great area of Cape Cod. Bob and Patrice Tomaso Claverack, NY
This is our 9th year of staying at the Southfleet, the location, price, cleanliness and staff are fantastic! It is a casual motel with great restaurants within walking distance, Marconi beach and shops just 15 minutes away. We look forward to visiting every year. Love the outdoor firepit as well and pool.
Delightful, attentive staff. Easy access to oceans, bay, ponds for swimming, kayaking, relaxing. Spacious rooms. Lovely hot tub indoors for all-season use. Close to restaurants at all price points. Love walking at Wellfeet Audubon Sanctuary and at Cedar Swamp Trail near Marconi Beach. Terrific seafood and views at nearby Wellfleet Harbor.
This is a great place to stay on the Outer Cape. The owners are very friendly, the grounds provide a grilling area, fire pit, playground, 2 pools. The location is perfect for getting to the many beaches of the National Seashore as well as area ponds. Room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
Entire facility is very clean and nicely maintained. That included the rooms, amenities and common areas - pool, hot tub & picnic areas. Wood is even cut and supplied for lovely, evening, outdoor relaxation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent location.
