Beautiful location with great staff & clean rooms! The food was wonderful, good location for walking around the sights, right on the beach! Love the roosters crowing every morning! Fun addition that we weren't expecting! Would definitely want to stay again! $50 a day for parking is pretty steep considering the high room rates to begin with but hey....it is what it is!
Nice stay. When checking in, let the team know you want to stear clear of the "ghost light room." There's a room where the ceiling fan light comes on randomly at odd hours. This woke us up for a few days. The staff will most likely move or upgrade your room. We got moved to an upgraded room. Not sure why they don't fix this light. Plenty of pools, bars and relax areas. I'd stay again. Wish housekeeping would pay a little more attention to cleaning the floors in the rooms. Beds were comfy. Pillows were great. Friendly staff. Convenient place to eat on the property, but wish they offered more vegetarian/vegan options.
I wanted to share our experience in case anyone was on the fence! We had a wonderful experience and would stay here again. Our room was beautiful and clean! No odor and shower was wonderful (adding since other reviews complained about these, we had zero problems). Staff was great, very nice! We loved the pool by the bar, the location near lots of restaurants, and the beach access. So happy with the decor here, I picked this hotel because it was so adorable online and I was not disappointed! Left this morning and already wish I was back.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Southernmost Beach Resort to celebrate his 40th birthday. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and were super accommodating and attentive to all of our needs. The location is perfect, the resort is beautiful and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. The entire experience exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return. This will be the only place we choose to stay from now on when visiting Key West.
Stayed there two nights ocean front room with balcony. It really was ocean from as says and balcony was nice size. The room pic below was spacious and very clean. This hotel did not at all have a big chain feel which I loved!!! The staff went above and beyond. All three pools are Heated and had no issue getting chairs. The butterfly thing across the street also great thing to catch. We did have breakfast at hotel once and was good. I felt this resort was “near the action” but was then a quiet place to retreat back to. I also loved staff texted more than once “checking in.” Only regret is can’t go back sooner!! Darn job and bills lol
Omg , such a fun time! No we did not win, but we tried our best. The host, she was precious and the game was fair and fun. Good challenging questions, but for everyone! The best time!!! And the pina coladas were amazing!!! We are having a blast will definitely return!!!
If you’re looking for a five-star resort, this may not be the place for you. It’s clean and centrally located, and the service is wonderful, but it just lacks what you may think a resort would be when you see photos on the website - especially considering the price. We had multiple issues with our room, and staff was helpful, giving us another room and waiving the daily resort fee. The resort is generally loud and is in a loud area of town. Side note: South Beach doesn’t have enough chairs to go around (and the chairs could use an update).
The newly renovated Duval Garden house was comfy and beautiful! It is located within walking distance to all the popular attractions but yet very quiet at night. Breakfast on the porch was delicious especially with our gracious hosts, Kadie and Marilyn.
