I came into town late and my hotel of choice was booked up, nobody except Hampton inn, 150$, had good reviews, so I went to bed here. First of all the woman at the front desk was incredible in how nice and helpful she was. Place was only 45$. There are no hair dryers or shampoos given. They did have a remote control for the air conditioning though which was awesome!!! I slept here great and I'm super picky, in hindsight I'd have brought my own shampoo but otherwise place rocked.
Clean and cheap! If you're as leery as I am when it comes to overnight stays, then you need folks like me to leave reviews. We paid $45 plus tax for a queen bed and a door with a deadbolt. Was it high class? NO. But did I get a good night sleep in a clean bed without fear of bed bugs, roaches or rodents? YES. Would I stay again? Also yes.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!! Later that night when I went to bed i was constantly itching i thought it was just mosquitoes. Until i saw a bed bug crawl across the pillow. The mattress was crawling with them. So quickly left and demanded a refund. After i told them they had bed bugs they blamed me for the bugs. This was the worst experience and trip ever! PLEASE DONT STAY HERE. BUT IF YOU DO CHECK THE MATTRESS AND YOU WILL SEE!!!
Cheap and clean, this motel is very nice. The director is very helpful and kind. We are very happy of our stay in Clarksdale MS and we will go back in this motel. Our room has every accomodations as fridge, micro-wave etc.
Clean rooms, all of the HOT water you can use, great location, and wonderful staff!
Lacks in amenities, but quiet, and comfortable during a weekend of attending a Clarksdale festival. Clean enough for adults. Would stay again if needed. Iron before you arrive, bring a hair dryer and a pillow. Does have a fridge, microwave, adequate TV.
The husband was very nice idk who the lady is but she’s very rude ! I got bit twice in the face by a bedbug she was mad and tried to say I brung the bug just rude . I left my laptop and went back to get it she still was rude ! Tell me “I checked the bed no bugs” was trying to argue with and lied like she didn’t have my laptop and then told me to go to the office my laptop was there ! She ends the conversation with “ when you do wrong you forget things” I told her why are you upset because y’all have bedbugs it isn’t my fault and you didn’t have to lie about not having my laptop . I will never stay again
I stay at the same room every time I'm at southern inn with my husband. The ppl who own it remembers us and always show hospitality and our room be clean every time. 😊😊😊😊😊

Go see the new sales associate Caressa for assistance. She was absolutely amazing. She made my experience of furniture shopping a whole lot easier. She was also very polite. She helped me to pick out the best furniture. I am very grateful.
