Southern Fresh Farms - Farmers' market in Fort Myers - 8500 Penzance Blvd, USA

Small family farm with animals in pens and fish in the pond for the kids to feed. The kids enjoyed dropping fish food in the pond and giving carrot sticks to the goats, donkeys, and baby bison. They also have a produce stand and sandwich shop as well under cover. It's a fun experience and does not cost much (for cups of animal food). A great way to spend the morning with the kids. We want to come back later for beers at the on-site outdoor brewery. It wasn't open during this visit.

Animals were great!! A very fun way to spend a Saturday. Not expensive. They have a neat little farmers market area and playground for little kids.

If you’re coming for the animals, it’s worth it. This family has created something very magical with their property and decided to share it with everyone. They have cows, goats, donkeys, horses that graze in a big field, new chickens coming, turtles, koi fish, different fish, and geese! $1 per cup of food to feed and this is totally reasonable. I ended up buying 5 of each. Fish food & veggies for cattle.

Great place. Fun events, and a seriously great little bar! Will absolutely be returning soon! All the staff was extremely friendly! This is a nice concept.

Animals were cool got some tomatoes and peppers. And a pulled pork Sammy's was delicious

Live music at the weekend, cold draught beer, street food, fresh farm produce and with a playground and animals to feed for the smaller visitors. Great atmosphere and family fun as always!

My wife and I came here in the middle of October and it was really cute loved the farm and the farmers market, we both thought it was odd there was no sign telling you what size and price they were so we picked up what we thought were 2 medium pumpkins well we guessed wrong. She rang us up and said there large, made no sense to call them large she had way more that were bigger. Spent $40 on 2 “large” pumpkins it was a complete rip off prices are to high. I can go to the store and get one 5x bigger for half the price. I really didn’t want to leave this review because everyone was nice but at the same time when you choose to go to a local person rather than a chain store I expect to be getting a better deal than the store or at least the same or it was a waste of money, time, and gas. It’s a shame.

If there was only a 10 star option. What a fantastic place to bring your child or to just have a moment of peace, I love this farm, from feeding the fish off of the dock to hand feeding the farm animals this is an awesome experience. A good place to appreciate nature and horticulture, I had my son's birthday here and we had an amazing time, all of the staff is super friendly and make you feel at home. Awesome events. Thank you guys for helping make my little one's birthday so special.
