Southern Blues - Harford Road - Southern restaurant (US) in Parkville - 8406 Harford Rd, USA

I’ve eaten at southern blues on several occasions today due to illness I was not able to go into the location so used Uber eat. I ordered surf and turf, cabbage fries, and a corn muffin, basic right only specifications I did include was to have my meat fried hard. I am unable to eat this food. The chicken looks old and taste old. The cabbage is extremely spicy. I remember it being spicy, but not hot to taste, I’m very dissatisfied considering I paid $40 for this meal in total I Will not be patronizing, southern blues beyond today in order to keep business you gotta produce satisfactory food. I work hard for my money, and I know you’re working hard to keep your establishment open

My family has hired Southern Blues to cater two events. They delivered the food on time. Each time, guests commented that the food was delicious. I have not eaten in the restaurant, but I can say that the food prepared for our family events were delicious!

Delicious filling food, great customer service Roman was wonderful I have no complaints I'm very pleased. I ordered bbq beef ribs they were so tender mac and cheese seafood salad yams corn bread rolls banana pudding and blue lemonade.

Thank you Southern Blues for catering our Thanksgiving lunch we enjoyed it immensely. Jimmy was so helpful and recommending a few choices and letting me know that the turkey gravy is very popular, it was amazing. We got the collard greens, mashed potatoes mac & cheese corn muffins. This is my first time at this restaurant and I was looking forward to some yummy southern peach cobbler. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find out that my dessert was just peaches and the filling. There was little to no crust as you can see in the photos which is such a let down. I paid for peach cobbler, not peach soup! This was not a good first impression at all and I do not plan on ordering from here again.

Food took about 45 min to be brought out to our car. Guess they didn’t have Mac and cheese so they gave us candied yams instead which were so nasty. Catfish unreal dry and no seasoning. The chicken and peach cobbler a were actually great but were given to us cold so had to be reheated. Really wanted to like this place but will not be back. Absolutely not worth the money.

First time visit to carry-out, parking terrible no Open handicap parking, only one space availble & it was/are used by non-disabled/non-plackard customers. Very nicely interior lobby, menus hard to read, small lettering poor "blue/black color" scheme . Ordered 2 fried chicken with mac/cheese and mashed potatoes/ gravy. Had to wait 35 minutes for staff to fry food, instant potatoes and canned gravy, mac/cheese good tasting. Ordered pork ribs with cabbage and potato salad with side of seafood salad. Asked for extra sauce for the ribs. Opened order at home, NO SEAFOOD SALAD or SAUCE. Very poor staff service checkout, receipt showed i paid for extra sauce and side salad. Ribs, potato salad ok, cabbage GREAT taste. Next day staff refused to comp/fill order. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT CARRY-OUT unless you inspect order at pick up.

I absolutely love this place. They employ young adults or young people who offer that sense of success long-term. By having a staff who is young enough to continue the business, enhance it, and keep it expanding is exceptional, and I commend the Southern Blues Owners on using such a smart business component as well as providing a stable resource to those who want reasonable food options that won't exceed their budget like mine, but still provide delicious food.
