We stopped here for lunch on our way back home from vacation and were very happy that we did! The beer is good with plenty of options that should meet anyone’s preferences and the food was stellar. I’ve been craving the Poke Nachos ever since our visit. I’ll definitely stop in again the next time I’m passing through.
We visited this spot in Boone on one of the busiest weekends of the year, and were blown away by the service. Ever since COVID service has struggled everywhere (for understandable reasons), and as someone who was a server in a past life this has ruined many dining experiences. But here… WOW. We called ahead because we had a group of 7, and were told there was no wait. When we showed up 10 minutes later they had the table saved and were ready to seat us immediately. Our server, Alex, greeted us within two minutes and I swear we had drinks (flights of beer) almost immediately afterwards. Never once did we ever have to look around for him- he was always there checking in, refilling water, making excellent recommendations, and just genuinely creating a great experience. We all loved the food and great selection of beer, but honestly it was the service and people that put it over the top. HIGHLY recommend this spot!
What a great spot! The poke nachos were delicious and well balanced between fresh avocado, high quality tuna, and plenty of the other fixings. The fries were fresh and not at all over-battered. I had a special, the pesto chicken sandwich with arugula and prosciutto. Banger. Beer was great, too! Flight is the way to go. Great spot! 😄
Awesome atmosphere in a very walkable and cool area of Greensboro. Visiting from out of town and glad we decided to slide through SouthEnd. Offer of indoor and back porch area makes it perfect for enjoying a beautiful day in the city. There’s paid parking lot right behind it too for easy access! Beer is delicious (I had the Prism break and my wife had Pilsner). Love the simple but expansive menu. Better than just an average pub/brewery food menu. Definitely “elevated”
What a great atmosphere and vibe - always enjoyable!!! The food is good although we've had a miss on a special. The descriptions are accurate, so just read the menu carefully -enjoy!
The beer was average, the food was grossly over priced. We got the loaded fries which was about 15 fries covered with a cheese sauce that tasted like one part cheese, one part beer, and four parts flour. Nasty, tiny, and $10.00. Have a mediocre beer then move on. See attached picture. $10 for this, "You gotta be sitting me Pile!!!"
First time here. The two beers we had were excellent. Food was very good - we shared three apps, and there was plenty. Service at the bar was friendly and knowledgeable.
The best Bavarian pretzel we have ever tried. Not sure if it is homemade but it sure taste like it. The wings and beer are amazing as well.
