If you’re looking for homemade cooking, this is a perfect place for you. You get large portions at a decent price. The waitress we had was attentive, friendly and knew the menu and gave good recommendations. Food was delicious and we ended up taking home half of what we ordered. Lots of seating and lots of free parking. The decor was of antiques and vintage paintings and art. And while we were there, we noticed a lot of regulars. Loyal customers 👍🏼.

Overall good experience. The food was fresh and tasty. The environment was small and friendly. Charming rooster decor. Service was surprisingly quick. Overall a good place to enjoy your typical homesome breakfast. Well recommend.

5 stars knocks this one out of the park! Plenty of parking, staff is so friendly and knows the menu! I hope you get Rainy from Seattle (yes, that's her name) she is so sweet!Atmosphere is fun to see the vintage signs on the wall. Seating is comfortable. Menu is quite large, and so are the portions! There is something for everyone. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly! Can't wait to go back and try the cowboy southern benedict!!!

We stopped for breakfast. My eggs were cooked perfectly, country potatoes were good not a fan of the bacon. For me it had a strong taste. Hubby had Chicken fried Chicken / White pepper gravy and Scrambled eggs with a big biscuit. He had no complaints. We will return to try something else.

We are grateful this place was around to feed us. We were sat and served quickly. The staff was really good at that though the food was tasteless and bland. I think the sausages had the only flavor. Ate the big breakfast which was BIG and a fair price though I only ate half and left the rest on the table. Daughter had the Mickey, we asked for substitute of fruit instead of eggs, they made the eggs anyways, the peaches were okay probably out of a can. We didn't take the food home with us 😢. I support local small business though give us something to write home about, maybe? ( just an idea for the Mickey pancakes, throw some chocolate pieces on there, make a face, do something, add some flavor, for us to remember the experience and the taste)

I ate there with my dad and my daughter while on vacation. Me and dad got the grits and eggs and my daughter got just some fries. Our order was good but my daughters fries didn't taste right, She is a picky eater. ( but me and my dad tried them and also thought the same as her ) we told the waitress about them and she took them to the back and told the owner. But the owner said there shouldn't be anything wrong with them that it was cooked in new grease. But the fries tasted odd and was goey in the middle. They still charged us the $5.99 for the fries even though we didn't eat them. And they didn't offer to make anymore to replace them. The waitress was nice and courteous and said if it was up to her that she would have taken the fries off the bill. But she wasn't the owner so she couldn't.

Great local spot. Food was delish with SUPER size portions. That's a half order biscuits and gravy. Mexican omelet with grits, couldn't eat it all!!! Service was the best in town!!

It's always a pleasure coming in and eating at Southeast eatery! We always have fast and kind service from the staff. Food is always delicious. We got to witness the staff deal with customers who complained about their food, yet these customers left with to-go boxes. This just goes to show that even nasty customers enjoy their food enough to take it home! The staff handled the situation with grace!
