Beautiful semi private beach only a short ferry ride away, The home we rented came with the ferry pass and it was my favorite part! The captian was so nice, ferry leaves every half hour, I would suggest arriving early.. we had 2 wonderful days out there, but waves were huge! Found lots of shark teeth and felt as if we were on our own private beach. One of my new favorite places!!
5 min ride to the public beach. You need a pass, I didn't have one. A wonderful couple had a pass, good for 6. I tagged along. What a wonderful hidden gem of a beach
First of all the locals didn't seem to happy with tourist making their way to the private beach. There isn't any public buildings such as restrooms, showers, but if you wanted to walk north to Caspersen beach or south to Manasota Key beach to get to the more public areas. This beach is private and very nice, not to much shells but we still found a good bit of shark teeth in better condition than the ones at Caspersen beach. Also here there aren't any rocks in the way you get into the water and seemed to be clearer at this area. Tried fishing here but no luck, I used shrimp and other fresh bait but only got crabs nibbling on my bait. You can take a diving mask and keep close to the edge of the beach and look and find those pretty in tacked shark teeth
Very cool lil short ride to a private beach. The locals don't like tourist to much but as long as you bring everything back you took out to the beach all will be good. Not to much shells but still found a good bit of nice shark teeth. Didnt have to much luck with fishing but still a fun time. Would def recommend the beach but there is no public restrooms or showers, not like the other public beaches around the area
Private neighborhood ferry that takes you across the Intracoastal and to the beach in a few minutes. Passes available for neighborhood residents only.
Short ride to a private beach. What more can you ask for on a perfect day? Bring what you want just be sure to be there for the last trip back, the swim is not as pleasant...
I've gone to that beach since I was a little kid. I love that there is a private ferryboat captain that takes you across to the beach. There always is an awesome view to look at. I love that you can see or walk out on to doc's to fish I love to go on vacation there
We have been on the ferry daily since our vacation arrival to Venice and the captain we have had is wonderful!! His name is Lou, he really enjoys offering this service to others. He is so friendly and informative. He will always let us know what to be aware of & keeps a close eye on the weather. We have been blessed to experience him as our captain.

Excellent beach access! Beautiful place to find shells, shark teeth (if youâre into diving), and enjoy the beach!
Plenty of parking for the different entrances.
The dogs are limited to a small portion of the beach, so if youâre not interested i
Beautiful park on the Jetty, Venice side. They are absolutely stunning views and a nice spot to watch boats and fishermen. You can see the fish as you walk along the water. So beautiful. There were a couple of dolphins showing off for us. It's j
Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Not pictured here but they made my son the cutest Mickey Mouse pancake, he really enjoyed! Kelsey was our server and she was really sweet to our very hangry 8 year old boy. We will be back.
We got takeout, but would absolutely recommend eating there. Charming staff and great looking restaurant!
I chose this restaurant because they have papaya salad, which is my absolute favorite! It was delicious and even had a little bit of green bean
I really like this place. The breakfast quiche and hashbrown casserole is so yummy. But wait, if you really want a treat, you've gotta try the hot chocolate (I had it with Oat milk, it was fabulous!) It's cozy inside and very clean. This is my new s
Mon Ami Cafe is such a cute spot. It's in a good location on Venice Ave but it's a hidden gem. Jo waited on us and she was very warm and friendly. She was very informative as to all the menus offers and answered my questions with ease.
