South Side Tavern - Bar in Skowhegan - Sampsons Shopping Center, 1 Waterville Rd, USA

Pretty decent place, stop to have a quick beer and a snack, very fair prices, and pretty decent food, All we had was a couple of beers and some sweet potato fries.

This tavern was clean and a nice place to go for a beer. We ended up having supper there which consisted of fried scallops (pieces) and sweet potato fries. Very good! They only have a handful of items on their menu and everything is fried but it certainly hit the spot. The bartender/waitress was very friendly and went above and beyond on customer service.

This is a perfect little bar, the drink prices are very low they have awesome sound system video games TVs, very covid compliant. I have the pleasure of hanging out with bartender Sarah she was very good to me made me feel very welcome and I plan on coming back a lot this is definitely a great place to wind down after a long day of work

Karaoke night here is epic!!

Great local and the only place typically open past 8pm within a 15 mile radius. So go in grab a drink be kind and relax.

If your traveling through this is a great place to get to know the real people of Skowhegan. I would give it three thumbs up but I only have two.

Met my brother here for a drink and a bite a few days ago. Not exactly a welcome place. Unfriendly staff, no kitchen (despite it being advertised), and no precautions relating to COVID-19 taken.

Always a blast and such a fun time with darts league on tuesdays
