Very nice place to bring kids. They have a lifeguard when we visit. The restroom is by far the cleanest restroom compare to other park.
It's a very nice park. Picnics and playground for the kids. The park has a fountain feature in the middle of it making it's very relaxing. The Shadow Lake Beach area is accessed from the park. I don't have personal experience but I've heard it's nice.

Nice place to hang out or enjoy the weather. Large playground above in the upper part of the park. They also offer onsite bathrooms and picnic tables with sheltered space. There is a walking path to take you down to the beach area. The only downfall is the beach isn't very large but is maintained and a nice area. They also offer bathrooms on site in the lower area of the park as well but those are closed when the beach is not supervised.
Very nice park for the kiddies. New and well maintained jungle gym. Clean bathrooms. Nice view of the beach below.
We have our family party here every year. It's always clean and well taken care of.
We live in Milwaukee, but come to visit our family cabin for the 4th of July. South Park is an awesome place to let kiddos play in the water. Lots of shade trees to lay around under. Many people cook out and make an entire day of it. They also have showers and at certain times life guards are on duty. Good times had by all.
Try the short walking trail. Begin at boat launch. Trail is up the hill & through the woods. Beautiful. Peaceful. Comes back down to lower shelter and fishing deck. Or vice versa . Also trail runs between the two parking lots along the lake as well.

Owned and operated by the Waupaca Historical Society, the Historic Train Depot is open on select weekends during the summer, however, there is often someone there at other times and would be happy to show you around. The main floor has been restored
Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitres

Large dining area. Plenty of bar stools. Nice variety of menu items. Large drinks selection. Bartender was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of televisions. Bathroom was clean.
