South Jamesport Beach - Beach in Jamesport - Peconic Bay Blvd, USA

Very nice beach on Peconic Bay, featuring enclosed bathhouse, outdoor shower for rinsing off, pavilion with table, large playground on the upper beach adjacent to pavilion, blue pathway mat on sand for both ease in walking, pushing a wheelchair, stroller, or for pulling a wheeled cart, cooler, etc. Lifeguards in-season. Town of Riverhead residential beach parking pass required year-round. Yes, the beach is full of pebbles, but there's plenty of sand for sandcastles and relaxation; bring water shoes! Additionally, as you enter the road leading to the beach, on the right there's a tennis/pickleball court, as well as picnic area with grills and tables. Must be town of Riverhead resident. Highly recommend! 🏖⛱️

I really like this beach! I love that there are plenty places to sit under the shade. I like that there’s a playground for the kiddos. And there’s a net for beach volleyball. There’s plenty of space for parking, and bathrooms are available. It’s a small beach but big enough for a lot of people. The sand is nice and white; it’s not rocky. I’m not sure how the permits work at this beach because when I was there; I didn’t need one. But I enjoyed coming here and I will be back in the future!

Really excellent park. Has a play ground and a volly ball net too. Really nice place to sit down relax or fly a drone or rc aircraft or watercraft. Really nice view of the water too great for swimming,fishing,or launching an inflatable boat or inner tube.

Beautiful beach with beautiful views...AND A SWING SET!!!

Beach itself is great but facilities are terrible, looks like they never cleaned, men’s toilet doesn’t flush, tap barely trickles any water, women’s toilet is closed so gotta use a portapotty. It’s summer season and you would think all this stuff would be in good shape for the season ahead

Love this beach, small but relatively quiet, mostly families. Need to be a town of Riverhead resident to park. Water is calm and usually warm. Beach has bathrooms by the parking lot and a playground. Water has a small protected swim area with lifeguards.

great place to relax and enjoy the beachfront. the sand is white and warm.

Really nice, gets busy during the summer but can still be a good place to hangout in the Spring and Fall
