A beautiful park to camp and hike. Stayed here for 3 days and nights and had a great time. The campground in which I stayed was .5 miles away from the waterfall. To hear the sound of it at night is so peaceful. I would come back here again to experience this wondrous park once more.
We camped at father adamz, it was 1/2 mile hike from our car. It was absolutely beautiful out there, highly recommend. The bathrooms were closed due to plumbing issues, which was unfortunate.
I've went here ever since I was a kid. I love the trails and the entire path.. I would recommend it to everyone who asks about somewhere to hike or go out for a day in nature!!
A great place for a hike, climbing, and the great outdoors. A wide variety of options for the lone wolf to the full family get together. So much to explore.
Absolutely worth the drive. Make sure to bring provisions, it can be slippery and very Rocky in a lot of places. Greeter Falls and Boardtree Falls were gorgeous. Loved the spiral staircase to the bottom of Greeter Falls. Will be going back to check out more of the Savage Gulf West and the other Savage Gulf's.
Very beautiful park to visit Plenty of places to explore. The photo shooting is fantastic the scenery is really good. The big question I get about this park is it Pet friendly. During the time we were down there doing photos We seen several people with their pets at the waterfalls. So I would definitely recommend this place For families to visit.
Beautiful park and trailways... mixture of easy to hard trails some better marked than others
This is a wonderful state park if you like to hike and see the wonders of nature. Don't miss the water falls and the Sawnee Natural bridge. Staff was all very friendly as well. My wife enjoyed several days exploring this park. Be aware that it is not all together. It is really a collection of smaller parks within driving distance of each other. The visitor's center has a map to get you to each location.
