South Bay Motel - Motel in Copiague - 1159 Montauk Hwy, USA

Me and my family stayed here back in May, to our relief there was no bugs and the rooms were fairly clean except for a few stains on the curtains, bathroom curtains, ect. There were a few problems with one of our keycards in which we could not open the door but the manager was incredibly kind to me and my family and helped us open the door when we couldn’t. He also went above and beyond to make our stay here comfortable. The rooms had a tv with various channels, a shower, a fridge, a microwave, and two beds. So overall the rooms were mediocre but there was incredible room service and amazing management.

The hotel it could be a very nice hotel. If it was properly maintenance the rooms have bedbugs in them the majority of them the one facing the water have Jacuzzis. Nice rooms will could’ve been nice rooms. Wouldn’t the Jacuzzi don’t work and there’s bedbugs on the side, those are not rooms and they’re disgusting broken down. The linen is not changed. It’s not pleasurable at all, but cheap if thats what you’re going for.

AVOID!!! Filthy blankets, clammy whorey smell , bathroom tub had stains, holes in the shower curtain, TV not connected, worst night ever I left 4am . NOTE: they charge another 5 percent if you use a credit card they don't share that information on the hotel booking sites. They will tell you that they are remodeling but that's a LIE! ITS A DUMP!!

This place sucks , it's an over priced motel that has roaches, most of freezers and fridge have freezer burnt ice in it, house keeping steals from the guest and don't clean the rooms every day. Their towels leaves lint all over your body and the management doesn't care about making the experience better all they care about is money.

This place gets no stars on 9/6 at 3am I am dropping my sister bag off the worker is screaming at my window I can’t sit here I said I’m bringing my sister her bag . He said she can’t be here because he said one person in the room no guest ! Absolutely disgusting if someone is paying their money how can you tell someone whom isn’t allowed in the room which is her and her boyfriend!

Nice location the best rooms facing the street! 😆😘☝🏽✌🏽👊🏽 120 a night Fridge microwave all that. Poor hotel in competition with Wyndham

It's a shame, I'm sure at one time this place was nice. But now it's a dump with unwelcoming guests. Save your money and go someplace else.

Tried to cancel three days in advance because something came up.|There's a $141 FEE to cancel ... BUT THE ROOM WAS ONLY $130....which means they want to make all their their money even if you don't stay.|Meanwhile, the room was $200/night after all the taxes, so I have to get the refund or I lose another $60. An absolute scam.
