I want to express my gratitude to Brian and the staff of Sonterra Blue. I recently relocated from Michigan to San Antonio. I chose Sonterra Blue apartments impart due to the positive online reviews. I connected with Brian and from start to finish my move was wonderful and it was a challenge due to me being in Michigan. Brian responded immediately to my request. What a pleasure to have worked with him. He took photos of my unit and emailed them to me. The application process was effortlessly and professional. Upon my arrival I met Brian and it seemed like meeting an old friend. The staff, facilities were wonderful. I highly recommend Sonterra Blue Apartments I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Please don't fall for the first showing act. My wife and I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this apartment complex. To make matters worse, they actively solicit 5-star reviews from prospective tenants during showings, attempting to bolster their average rating, even from individuals who choose not to sign a lease. We resided here for a year and a half before departing in June. Despite significant price hikes initiated by the new management, we generally found the living experience agreeable. Our lease was set to conclude in August, but we gave our notice of intent to vacate in June, as required. Bryan informed us that we should surrender our keys, pool access bracelets, and other items immediately upon vacating, given that we would no longer be residing on the premises. We diligently adhered to his instructions. We even hired a professional cleaner to leave the apartment spotless and ensured that everything was securely locked. However, when I visited the unit a few weeks later, I was shocked to find the door ajar. Inside, I discovered a disheveled scene with clothes strewn about, papers scattered on the floor, discarded food wrappings, needles, and an unpleasant odor. When I returned to the office seeking clarification, a different individual, whom we believe to be Renee, handed me back the keys and stated that we should not have returned them, as the apartment remained our responsibility. This directly contradicted the guidance provided by Bryan, the so-called "manager." They referred me to a non-emergency police line to report a potential break-in. It is likely an employee left the door open at some point and an opportunist squatter took advantage to avoid the heat. (Before and after photos attached) To cut a long story short, the responding officer indicated that it appeared as if a homeless individual had been occupying the apartment for an extended period. While the office ultimately agreed to cover the cost of the cleaning services, we still received an unexpected bill. Our numerous calls to the office yielded little progress, as they repeatedly promised that Bryan would return our calls. However, it took weeks for him to make contact, and his responses typically amounted to "I don't recall saying that" or "I was in a meeting." In the end, Jasmine emerged as a savior, swiftly resolving our predicament within a single day, despite not having been apprised of the full story by her colleagues. It is a pity that we did not have the opportunity to speak with her from the outset, as Bryan was entirely unhelpful in our ordeal.

I've been living at Sonterra Blue and absolutely love it! The entire staff is amazing, I worked with Renae and she answered all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. I recommend everyone to move here, friends, and family. Do not sleep on Sonterra Blue!

Renae has been super helpful. She is solutions oriented and is always quick to answer questions! We told her about a few things we were looking for and she said, "I have the perfect unit for you!" We went to look and she was right! Sonterra Blue was the first place we looked and we ended up cancelling our other showings lined up that day. The whole process beginning to end gave my wife and I peace of mind.

We lived here for a year and a half and left this past June. Overall, we enjoyed living here, even after the new management raised prices drastically. Our contract was over in August but we gave our notice to vacate the unit in June. Bryan told us we had to turn in our keys, pool bracelets, etc as soon as we vacate since we will not be living there anymore. We did exactly as he told us.. We hired a person to deep clean the apartment and left it spotless and we left everything locked. A few weeks later, my husband went to check and the door was open. There was a box with clothes, papers on the floor, food wrappings, needles, and bad smell... When he went back to the office another lady, Renee, I believe, gave my husband back the keys and said we should've not given the keys back because the apartment is our responsibility still, even though that is not what Bryan, the "manager" had said. They gave my husband a non emergency police line to file a report that someone broke inside the apartment. (Also note, there were 3 guys working on the yard, who probably had access to the keys). Long story short, the cop said it looked like there was a homeless living there for weeks. The office at least agreed to pay the cleaning services but we still got a bill and every time I called the office, they said Bryan would call me back and literally took weeks to get this resolved. They wanted to take no responsibility on this and Bryan would just answer “I don’t remember saying that or I was on a meeting”. At the end, Jasmine helped us and she was very very nice and resolved everything within a day, even after she didn’t know the whole story, since no one shared it with her. I really wished we spoke to her since day one because Bryan was no help at all.

Living at Sonterra Blue has been a breeze . It’s a great quiet apartment complex with pool gym gated community great location and a good maintenance team . Speaking of, one of their maintenance workers (Evan) does a magnificent job keeping up with the property , Valet trash, etc and always has a positive attitude and is friendly with My wife and I . As well as the rest of the Sonterra blue staff , Jasmine has been amazing with us as well with her professionalism and dedication to keep residents here happy and taken care of .

Renee & Kayla were excellent during my check in process and the rest of the staff I’ve spoken to have been outstanding as well. I’ve had half a million questions I consider stupid but they’ve answered every one quickly and efficiently and they both very quickly made me feel at home despite never setting foot in Texas till today. The apartment itself is very nice and well kept with very minor wear and tear overall

Toured the place with Renae. She was really nice and helpful. The floorplan she showed me is awesome. Removed one star because for a luxury apartment complex, the appliances are really outdated. Despite that, I decided to make Sonterra Blue my new home because it was the most pet friendly apartment I found, and the staff have all been friendly.

Fourth time here. We obviously always have a blast. It’s a great activity for children and adults to play together. And as an adult, we’re having just as much fun as the kids. Parking is usually pretty easy too. Highly recommend!
