Sonrise Palms RV Park - RV park in Cocoa - 660 Tucker Ln, USA

We reserved a site for the month of December here based on Good Sam 9-9-9 rating. We will not be using Good Sam ratings any longer. The staff here were great. The maintenance people and the office people were very friendly and helpful. The reason for the 3 star rating was the almost constant sewer smell from the town treatment station just outside the campground. The smell made it very undesirable to sit out side at all. The campground also advertises as pet friendly. Their idea of pet friendly is to keep your dog on a 6 foot leash at all times. First time without pet on a leash is a one time warning. 2nd time and you are asked to leave the campground and there is no refund. We will not be returning and will not be using Good Sam ratings any longer either. We will use individual reviews like this one to make our choices.

Decent park, easy to get into sites. Bathrooms look like they haven't been remodeled in 50yrs. Pool area needs work. No playground for kids. Definitely geared towards childless guests. Sites get muddy if there's heavy rain. You can hear I95 anywhere in the park and it's LOUD! This place needs some serious renovations, and it's obvious the owners just don't care.

Nice level sites. I 95 traffic sounds were not that noticeable with the AC units running. However, the smell from the sewer system right next to lot one, wafted across my site (43) to where we couldn't sit outside due to an onshore breeze. That being said, I'd recommend this campground for a short-term stay but away from the sewer.

Staff very nice and friendly. Bathrooms very clean couldn’t ask more than that. We stayed a couple of nights January 2024 weather was raining but ok . The only problem with this camp site is that it’s next door to the I.95 the traffic noise is constant. But other than that would recommend this camp site because of the staff alone😜

Probaly 3 1/2 stars but I will let you be the judge. $76.48 a night. We were told full hookups the overnight or "overflow is water and electric only. I talked to Jeff the maintenance manager and he very nicely let me have a full hookup site just for overnight. Mostly perminent and long term residents. Sites can get muddy, but has paved roads. Bath house clean. Could hear some road noise. There are stores and fuel close by and some attractions we didn't get to see. Office closes early. My opinion a little over priced.

This is a smaller, out of the way location. It is perfect for quiet relaxation, but is also located close to attractions. They have full hook ups available which is something we are always looking for. They have a SUPER clean bath house. It smells clean and looks clean. They do an amazing job at maintaining the cleanliness considering the number of people staying. (It was at capacity this stay.) There is also a nice heated pool. They also offer cabins for rent if your RV would be too crowded. The staff is amazing as well. They are friendly and helpful. This was our second stay and, if FL is in the plans again, we will come back!

Nice small RV park. We stayed two nights in an over flow pull thru spot right in front of the office and it's near the bathhouse. There's no sewer hookup at the overflow sites. Paved streets gravel sites. Very friendly office staff. Though I didn't use the showers and bathroom they were clean and updated.

I would recommend this resort to everyone ! Very welcoming staff and owners. Pet friendly, clean dog park and safe nightly walking. Pool is crystal clean! Laundry room 24 hours. Both full time and part time residents are sweet and helpful! I would say 10/10
