Beautiful, charming place to stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, smelled wonderful, and exactly what we needed for a wine tasting getaway in Sonoma. It’s near the local Sonoma square and our fave restaurants.
The only thing is the reception desk closes at 6–so any check ins later than that you would have to do online, but that’s an easy workaround.
The place exceeded expectations and we will return here if we are ever in the area again
A great location as a base for exploring the vineyards of Sonoma and Napa. Rooms are rustic and basic. Bring your own toiletries. There is no daily housekeeping, you make your own bed. But you can get fresh towels from the front desk. Front desk is only open from 9am to 5pm. Late check in is possible through a locked box that is accessible by key code. Car parking is free and ample. Kudos to the team for finding a ring that my sister left behind and sending it by Uber to our hotel in San Francisco after we have check out.
Quaint old-fashioned Inn. Nice art in Rooms, but rooms could stand for a slight upgrade, a paint job, and modernize the toilets for senior guests. The cleaning crew needs improvement.
Ruth was an absolute delight. She stook around for me to check-in and I was a last minute booking. She recommended a variety of places to check out, my favorite of which: Enoteca.
Pretty old and run down. Stayed a full week and only learned after checking in that there would be no housekeeping service during our stay. Front desk is only open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. No closet and only four hangers, that cannot be removed, attached to a pole in the corner of the room. The fan in the a/c unit was so noisy we couldn’t run it while sleeping.
Do not stay in upper rooms, especially 16.
Road noise was pretty bad. It was necessary to open windows for fresh air, and this made road noise very bad.
Lower rooms are protected from road noise by concrete wall.
Main problem was adjacent restaurant turned on noisy exhaust fan at 5am, and it sounded like a diesel truck idling outside our front door.
This is only a problem for room #16.
This place is so freaking cute! I booked last minute for a work trip and was a little worried about what I was getting into. I pretty exclusively stay in big chain hotels for work and the small size and hours for the front desk didn’t feel ideal. Boy was I wrong! I’m so glad that I stayed at the Sonoma Creek Inn. The people are so friendly. The rooms are a great size. Mine had a little outdoor private seating area and a ceiling fan (which I never find at chains). The bed was great, the pillows were perfect, the room was very clean. The bathroom had a large shower with good water pressure. And it’s convenient to everything. ||I’m definitely staying here next time I’m in Sonoma.
Cute rooms, excellent service, great location - not far from Sonoma and Glen Ellen.
I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was staying at Sonoma Bungalows. I went to Napa/Sonoma to celebrate my birthday in September and my bestie came along, we had the best girls trip! We stayed in the studio unit and it was perfect for us. Loc
First time there and we really enjoyed it. Wonderful and homey rooms/suites. Outdoor areas are very inviting. Very close and convenient to the Square. Marcie was an excellent host!
The Donum Estate is a 200-acre winery located in between Sonoma and Napa Counties. A top-notch producer of Pinot Noir with one of the largest private sculpture collection in the world. Well worth visiting.
The BEST overall experience. Touring the vineyard, tasting the grapes, excellent wines, and the views. Ivan was a terrific host. We will definitely be back again.
Come for the coffee, stay for the good vibes! The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and you can tell they enjoy their work environment. The drive thru moves fast and if you want to stay a while, there are tables outside.
As someone from New York, I have a high standard when it comes to bagels and I have to say Homegrown Bagels impressed me with their lox special on everything bagel. Itâs not quite a NY bagel but pretty darn good and the best Iâve had in Californi
Another great evening at Cafe La Haye; this time for my daughter's birthday. It is so nice to see the familiar faces of the staff and folks that seem to be locals.
All of the specials sounded tempting, as did the menu items. I had the ahi tuna tarta
Elisa is such a great hostess! Our group rented three rooms this past week, and none of us had any complaints, because we totally enjoyed it! this location is just incredible, and the town of Sonoma is so charming. You are scheduled half of a block o
Do yourself a favor and stop here if you are in the area or driving through Sonoma. The food and drinks are fantastic! The pozole rojo and pozole verde were delicious â not something you can find in many places! I highly recommend any cocktail with
