Sonic Drive-In - Fast food restaurant in Pawleys Island - 11361 Ocean Hwy, USA

Went Friday early evening, it was not super busy. Ordered two cheese burgers and tots. Waited 15+ minutes and burgers were lukewarm and tots were cold. Servers were polite and well prepared, but kitchen is either understaffed or inexperienced.

My last order here was missing food and the food included in the order was both poor quality and incorrect. Previous visits the food is consistently incorrect and poor quality. The employees seem angry to be there most of the time. Avoid this place at all costs. If you do visit be sure to rate honestly on Google. I have visited enough to know this place does not deserve its current 4 star rating on Google. Let's stop letting these resturants get away with treating customers poorly and serving trash as food. If you fall for the "free appetizer for a 5 star rating" trick, you will pay for it in poor quality food and service down the line.

25 min in the drive-thru for one Rt 44 cherry limeade and a small Sonic blast. The cherry limeade has NO syrup in it whatsoever. None. There's no excuse for this kind of idiocy, it's not that hard.

I came here ALL the time, and have ALWAYS ordered the same thing, each and every time. Well the time before this, I didn't get my onion ring on my sandwich nore the bbq sauce (the #4 combo). This last time not only did I not get my onion ring, they tried giving me the number 2 even though I paid for the number 4. I'm never coming back again. I'm a cook and i know all my recipes like the back of my hand. If a simple onion ring can't be cooked, then you have the wrong people in the kitchen.

Walked over from the best western took family for dinner had a bacon cheeseburger toaster sandwich, also got chili cheese Coney with tots and honey bbq popcorn chicken meal with tots and cheddar poppers.the screen didn't work so had to have the girl run my card. They were fast and everything was hot. Would definitely return.

The worker was extremely rude, some people in my car were laughing at a joke and the worker refused to serve us because he heard laughter in the background. It is really sad what people in America have come to. The dude needs to learn to smile

I don't usually go to Sonic but on this particular night I did and I'm so glad I did. I received some of the best service that I have seen in a long time. It started from the drive thru when I ordered as Eric was very helpful, professional, and kind. When I got to the window, I was met with the amazing smile and pleasant tone of Morgan. They both were extremely awesome and I truly appreciate it. They definitely should be acknowledged or compensated for such priceless service in our world of negativity. Awesome job Eric & Morgan! 👏🏾😊

This is not the first time this has happened. They always serve cold food and give you less than you pay for. This is supposedly a large tater tot. Its safe to say I will not be going back here in the future. This happened at 7:45 on Feb 23rd 2022. This place is a absolute rip off and their food is not that good and the employees are rude.
