Sonic Drive-In - Fast food restaurant in St Cloud - 4350 13th St, USA

They don’t take Apple Pay. Came over and ordered. Order was brought and handed to me. Provided Apple Pay, was informed they don’t accept it after the fact. Lady asked for me to give her order back. A big franchise like Sonic not taking Apple Pay is very strange. Taking the order back was kind of crass at that point in my opinion. I had already touched it. Hope they didnt give it to someone else. I noticed girl taking orders was also very rude (before Apple Pay fiasco) Is it same girl that took my order? I went to grab a Cherry Limade because I was absolutely craving one. I wanted to order in the app, but for some reason it wasn't working. Because if you order drinks in the app you always get half off. The atmosphere was a little shady, I think there should be more lighting in the parking lot. It was kind of dark. My drink came out super fast and the service was good. The lady who brought out my drink told me next time to let them know that you tried to order in the app and she would have honored my half off drink which is much appreciated. I gave the service four stars because I felt like she was a little rushed and just wanted to get back inside.

I was craving onion rings. They are normally good. Today however they were sweet like powder sugar sweet. When I complained I was told that’s because we make them with cake batter. No offer to get me something else

Lacey went above and beyond to make sure she took our order and that we had everything we needed. It was hard to hear because of traffic, so she came out to take our order. She was very sweet and patient with us. We had a large order. She processed the order quickly and brought us our food right away. Thank you for being so kind and going out of your way to give us excellent customer service.

Overall the location needs a remodel cause it’s looking a bit dated. The food isnt the issue and service is what you would expect. Nothing over the top or absolutely terrible. The issue with this location is the drinks. It doesn’t matter if it’s a soda,slushes, lemonade or ice tea they all taste like faucet water. It’s either they aren’t cleaning the machine or they are making the drinks in the sink. If you’re going to buy a drink just stick with the shake or buy it next door at Chick-fil-a .

The young woman that took my order was pleasant and friendly. I ordered a small shake and some buffalo chicken dip bites. I waited 15 minutes before the sign changed saying my food was on the way. Then I waited a bit longer and still no food. Then I had to go to. Enough was enough. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the woman on the speaker seemed friendly. I can't tell you if the Chicken Dip Bites or shakes are any good. I can tell you the service was pretty non-existent. The St Cloud store is very poor example of a drive in family type restaurant.

Terrible service. I am not sure what kind of unhinged females work here, but it is extremely outrageous. I placed three orders, and was told “ They do not have my order” After they confirmed it multiple times. Whatever woman was answering the phone was so rude and made my Florida experience comparable to fecal matter. The man “Aiden” was also no help. That is if he is a real employee.

It’s typical fast food, but that unsweetened strawberry tea was very good. Person taking our order was also super sweet and came out when she couldn’t understand us on the intercom.
