Came to get this double quarter pounder with cheese and got a skinny little double patty of nothing. No way it's a quarter pounder. Totally disappointed. Next time I'm going across the street to Freddy's. Much better burger and the shakes are much better as well. Show string fries and onion rings blow away Sonic. I will say the guy in the drive thru was super nice.
I utilized the app to place an order and proceeded to the store for pickup. However, upon arrival, the store couldn't locate my order. Despite showing them the confirmation on the app, the manager was called and declined to provide the order. When I requested a refund, they directed me to call a hotline, which also couldn't process the refund. After calling the store again to speak with the manager, I discovered that my order should have been provided to me, despite her instructing the staff otherwise. The manager mentioned that an owner would contact me, but no one did. This experience with the store has been incredibly frustrating, and I've never encountered such incompetence from a business before.
I'm thinking this Sonic has had a revamp of staff because every person I've encountered in the last 1-2 months has been SO DANG FRIENDLY as well as accurate with orders. If you've been considering trying Sonic lately, give them a shot! It's completely different than it has been in the past with employees. These folks today are so nice, working hard, and they're getting it right every time I've stopped by.
I had heard enough about the new churro shake and finally had to try it. When I got it, the mini churro on top was warm and crispy with a dusting of cinnamon and sugar. The shake had a nice cinnamon flavor but I could not pick out the caramel mixed in. I liked the shake overall and was glad to see a unique item on the menu. It tasted like a Snickerdoodle cookie. I would order it again for sure.
The staff was excellent — I ordered corn dogs at 7:45am on the app for my toddler who doesn’t want to eat — I know he’ll eat them. They obviously don’t have those made at this hour but they brought my drink immediately and let me know what the cook time was going to be. So kind!
Long story short I needed coffee, hot black fresh coffee and the lady was so kind to make a fresh pot, literally the best ever to work at Sonic. She deserves a raise
